Mang Inasal — Restaurant in Rizal

I wanted to rate this branch with 3 or 4 stars, but there was this big factor that made me rate this place with 5 stars.

I would like to commend one of their employees, Mark (I forgot to ask his surname, though.). He has this jolly personality. He also sees to it that every customer he deals with gets satisfied.

Me and my friends first encountered him when we were asking for some extra rice. He asked us if we wanted two servings each (!!!) because we waited for like 2-5 minutes or so. We laughed at his offer but when one of my friends said yes, he really did put 2 servings on his plate. After giving us extra rice and before he left our table, I asked him if the soup was available. He said it wasn't ready yet. after 3 minutes, he served us with water without us asking for it. We saw him going around serving every customer he could handle, and he flashes his smile every time he does.

When the soup was finally ready, he served it to us immediately. He dropped a joke while doing this, and we were really amazed how he tirelessly served and accommodated the customers in this branch. When he passes by our table, he always asks us if we need anything, and sometimes, drops a quick joke.

Employees like him are very rare. We are hoping to find more Marks not only in Mang Inasal, but also in other fast...

The service is bad. I was passed from one staff member to another, and then to another when I was requesting something. I was also cut off while speaking for the third time regarding my request. And instead of paying attention, the staff were busy laughing and chatting among themselves, clearly not taking me seriously. I understand if they can't fulfill my request due to busyness (it's closing), even thou we are also a customer, but as what I observed -- they clearly have time for chatting. The ambiance and foods are good but it was affected by the way...

Very poor service. The cashier is not accommodating at all. Most of the menu, when you order it’s unavailable. Poor decision making on how they control which one to serve and which one to hold on to. Staff are eating in the counter while the store still operational. Unacceptable behavior and I wonder how the duty manager is allowing such thing. They are not accepting card...
