This restaurant offers a decent dining experience, which I wouldn’t mind revisiting if I lived nearby. However, for those residing in the south, or even in areas like Makati or Mandaluyong, the long drive (around 1.5 hours from Makati on a Saturday) might not justify the trip. Bulalo - The bulalo is the typical version you can get from Tagaytay, but the beef portions were disappointingly small. Each serving was as tiny as two spoons placed side by side, although the tenderness of the meat was just right. Ensaladang Tokwa’t Baboy - While enjoyable, the dish would be better, in my opinion, without mayonnaise and with more tokwa’t baboy than cucumber slices. Pritong Manok (fried chicken) - Although crispy, the chicken lacked flavor and tasted bland without ketchup. Chili Pusit at Tahong - Despite a delicious sauce, the seafood failed to absorb the flavors well. The squid was overcooked and chewy, while the mussels were sizable but one was empty. At ₱595, I thought it’s overpriced for the limited portion size. Okoy - A standout dish, pleasantly crispy and flavorful with a generous serving size. The staff were excellent though. They were friendly, genuinely warm attentive throughout our meal. Despite a slight delay in serving our food (a little over the 20-minute mark), everything was served at the same time, which was good. The ambiance of the place was pleasant, especially on cooler days or nights. However, dining here on a hot, humid day might be uncomfortable. Parking is ample. Overall, while the food was enjoyable, it didn't offer anything truly special or unique, and the prices were a bit high. Next time we’re in Antipolo, we wouldn’t mind returning to try their other dishes.

What a great lunch meal to end my long week getaway. It's my last day of the so calles hop-on hop-off hihi. Before we part ways, I decided to have a sumptuous meal with my family. It was a last minute decision so we hurriedly checked a place where we can dine and we can bring kids with us. Luckily, we were able to get a table for 10 at Tipulo especially on a weekend and approaching long weekend due to holiday. I would say it was really a good choice booking at this restaurant. The ambiance is perfect, it wasn't that hot really although it's an alfresco dining. Their meal is really worth each penny. Shout out to the our designated waitress named RICA (I don't know what's her full name) for being very accomodating and assistance all throughout our stay. Kudos to you! I also like their brownies it's freshly baked. They also have parking slots with whom you'll be greeted by their guards with a huge smile on their faces eveb they're under the burning heat of the sun. Indeed a one of a kind experience for me. Few reminders that I would like you guys to note if you wanna drop by to this place would be book your slot. With the current situation of this pandemic better be prepared than be sorry; as I've seen a guy who was escorted out because they're fully booked. As you take your seat, start ordering dishes as there's a tendency that they may run out of it due to volume of orders. And lastly, you need to pay 200/pax for reservation regardless of age, anyway it's consumable so you really don't have to worry at all.

While I must admit that the location and ambiance of Tipulo were exceptional, I regret to say that my dining experience was marred by the disappointment of the food. As much as I wanted to give this place a stellar review, I can only award it 2 stars due to the subpar quality of the cuisine. Let's start with the positives. The restaurant's location was undeniably excellent, charming atmosphere. It was the kind of place that made you want to stay and soak in the surroundings. However, the same level of care and attention did not extend to the food. The menu offered an enticing array of options, but unfortunately, the execution fell short of expectations. The dishes lacked flavor and were poorly seasoned. It was evident that the culinary team did not pay sufficient attention to the quality and presentation of the food. Pancit was too salty. Kare-kare doesnt taste like kare-kare at all. Sisig has 90% onions, 7% pork fat and 3% meat. Lumpiang gulay was terrible. Fried rice was terrible. Price to quality ratio is terrible. Service, too, was a letdown. While the staff was friendly and courteous, the wait times between courses were excessively long. This further added to the frustration of the dining experience. Considering the fantastic location and ambiance, it is truly disheartening that the food did not live up to expectations. As a guest, one expects the culinary experience to match the overall atmosphere and be a highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, in the case of Tipulo, the food failed to deliver. It is my sincere hope that Tipulo takes the necessary steps to improve the quality of their cuisine and enhance their service standards. With some significant improvements in these areas, they have the potential to become a standout dining destination that matches the allure of their location.

First time to go here and I am sure it will not be the last. :) The place is open, spacious and has very good ambiance to it. They have different seating areas and can accomodate quite a number of people. Here is a list of the food we tried and ordered: - Seafood Rebusado - Oxtail Karekare - Lumpiang Sariwa - Chircharon (Chicharon Bulaklak) Sampler - Plain White Rice - Tipulo Cakes (Ube and Dulce de Leche) - Tipulo Coffee For all the food listed here, they have a very generous serving size and are really meant for sharing. The Oxtail Karekare (for me and my wife) was the star of the show. Meat is served very tender and tasty (especially when you pair it with the Alamang). The Chicharon Sampler was also very good but I did try to avoid consuming too much (for health reasons) but it is perfect pair for a cold beer. The Lumpiang Sariwa's sauce was different from what is usually served with other restos, but is also delicious (it is already a meal by itself), the ingredients are fresh, especially the included Lettuce. The Tipulo Coffee has a rich taste and I would recommend for coffee lovers out there. Overall, The food here is great, the ambiance and the resto interior itself lends itself as a relaxed place for family and friends. Speaking of friends, the people who serve and prep the food are very courteous and know the menu and food they have very well. If I was to nitpick, the only negative I have observed is that it may take time for your food to be served (give about 15 to 20 minutes).

Oh! My friends love the experienced. Satisfying and worth to try. We have reservations for 5 around 7pm. We arrived at tipulo and the place was full. A lot of guests are waiting outside. The good part is, reserved guest are prioritized, (so I suggest to make a reservation to secure your spot). The receptionist has a very mild comforting voice, even it shows that they are very busy, still they don't forget to be calm. We went to our tables orders some food, the waitress who handled us I cannot remember her name but I heard they were calling her Ika or Ica (I don't know 😂). We are advised that the serving time will take longer from their usual timing and we totally understand the situation because of the numbers of guest dining in. The food arrived like 15 minutes, so it was quick. Clap 👏 The food was fantastic, crispy lech ok n kawali, Filipino style lumpiang sariwa and yang chow rice to share. One of the remarkable event that night, our nearby table celebrated a birthday. There's a birthday song and all the staff started to clap and the rest of the guest joined. Ang saya! Overall. It was fun! I will definitely include it in my vlog. Food - 5 star Service - 5 star (Thank you Ate kung sino ka man) Place - 5 star Thank you tipulo!

Restaurant Name: Tipulo Atmosphere: Tipulo offers a wonderful escape from the hustle of the city. The expansive open spaces and relaxing ambiance create a top-notch atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely walk. Food: While the brunch options like lemon chicken, bulalo, and adobo left us wanting more flavor, the redeeming factor was the delightful array of pastries and cakes. For a satisfying experience, I'd recommend focusing on their excellent coffees and pastries. Service: The staff at Tipulo elevated our experience. They not only noticed that we are celebrating someone's birthday but went the extra mile by playing the birthday song and surprising us with a complimentary slice of cheesecake. The attentive and friendly service added a personal touch to our visit. Overall: Despite the disappointment with some brunch choices, Tipulo remains a highly recommended haven for those seeking a calming retreat in nature. The welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service make it a worthwhile escape from the city grind.
