The place is easy to find, and the ambiance is homey, comfortable, and clean.
The food was amazing! Here are some must-try dishes: • Pizza Pepperoni – If you’re a cheese lover, this is sulit! Generously topped with cheese and pepperoni, and all for just around ₱500+. Definitely worth it. • Crab Rice – A pleasant surprise! It’s not your usual side dish, and we were impressed. The serving is good for at least 3 people. It’s so flavorful, you honestly won’t need any ulam. 🤣 • Roast Beef – The plating was unexpectedly appetizing, and it tastes just as good as it looks! • Seafood Aglio Olio – Bursting with flavor and very generous with the seafood. A solid choice.
I didn’t get to try the Chicken Ala King and Milkfish dish, but they looked really good based on presentation.
As for the Ube and Cheese Cake – it’s not too sweet and has a strong, authentic “ube” flavor. I’m personally not a fan of ube cakes, so I can’t say much—but my...

I recommend the Coffee Jelly Frappe. It's not too sweet and it balances out the food well.
Too bad though, for a café promoting their baked goods, we got a dry and crumbly, and a nothing special Caramel Mocha(?) cake, and a not so moist anymore Brazo de Mercedes.
The roast beef also was not the best. I've had better for the same price. The taste of the beef was lost and there were spikes of sweetnees that doesn't synergize with the beef. What redeemed it though was the very smooth and buttery mashed potatoes. I don't like the pink thing on top they put though, it's confusing whether or not it's edible, and please, the pink is nowhere near visually appealing for roast beef. Try another shade of pink maybe or just dont put pink on the food itself.
Overall, it's pricey but...
Read moreA neighbor recommended Purple Love. In terms of interior, it's quite tacky as most floral arrangements are plastic. The Salted Shrimp pasta is rich. Ample size for the price. Could have been informed that it was salted because of salted egg. Cherry Short Ribs is good as it is flavorful. However, the meat was defrosted as it was still cold. Rice seems microwaved. The Bone Marrow Pie took some time. The pie was undercooked. Bone marrow is small. The taste overall is good.
We were informed that serving time is 25minutes, which we agreed. But we didn't expect that they will serve each meal with with 5-10 minutes apart. We ordered 3 meals. So just imagined, if we waited, then our food will be cold.
Food price ranges from 200 to 500 pesos per meal. Pricey but good serving size.
Purple Love Cafe has a potential but always falls short. I hope they...
