Place was noisy (think School Canteen vibes). Architect should have considered acoustics in designing the walls, ceiling & floor. Food was mediocre.... more like pedestrian. But the all-time low had to be the Chirashi-Don. Never did I expect that a donburi bowl would be served in a small plate (platito)! A whole new level of shortchanging the customer. Note to owner: a customer who walks into a japanese restaurant is prepared to pay a premium. No need to scrimp on the servings just to keep prices low.

A far cry from the Jiro branch in Nepo. Few things: Most servers were nice. Server laughed at us when we asked if a dish had rice. I'm sorry. We didn't know. We waited 30 minutes for our food to get to us. When we followed up, we received the dishes almost immediately. They couldn't even bring out the miso soup or edamame early. Edamame smelled and tasted funky. Not fresh. Katsudon was bland. Miso soup was salty. We're still waiting for our yakisoba. We're thinking they forgot.

Service is bad - workers chitchatting, not attentive and did not help at all when asked for any reco.

No card payment options. Interior is kinda tacky considering the price point of their dishes.

Beef gyudon is so-so. Lots of mushrooms than beef. Only good thing are the rolls but not worth...
