I recently dined at Lampara Restaurant, and I must say that the exceptional customer service truly stood out. Mau, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to assist me. When I inquired about the availability of Gatorade, she not only provided information on where to buy it but also offered to personally fetch it for me – a remarkable display of their dedication to customer satisfaction.
The culinary experience at Lampara was a delight. The mushroom soup and egg drop soup were delectable, bursting with flavor. Although there was a slight delay in serving our fried chicken, the wait was worthwhile. The dish arrived piping hot, accompanied by a sumptuous gravy that elevated its taste.
While the food impressed, I found the ambiance in need of enhancement. The restaurant, though adorned with charming Christmas lights, appeared a bit dim for my preference. A brighter setting could further enhance the overall dining experience.
In summary, Lampara Restaurant offers exceptional service, delicious cuisine, and room for improvement in the ambiance. I look forward to returning and experiencing their continued commitment...
Read moreA very pleasant affordable surprise. Mel is an absolute hoot Restaurant decorations are inspired by Filipino traditions with a sprinkling of instagrammable nooks. We found the restaurant after a rather long drive from Manila with a bunch of tired souls seeking some respite and good food. We chose to dine indoors to seek shelter from the heat and some measure of privacy for the family gathering. Toilet facilities are clean with endearing strays and kittens lounging in the area where the vehicles are parked. Furnitures and decorations are curated well and not over the top. Menu is made up of the Filipino hits but some were more than great flavours and presented with an explosion of creativity and a memorable amount of playfulness. Mia and Mel were our servers but Mel is just an absolute hoot at the table service. He is the creative spirit in some of the food styling and table presentations. Anywhere from the table side finish to the crispy pata kare kare to the rather festive halo halo and the turón with ice cream desserts. Staff were attentive and responsive to us. An absolute recommendation if you are in the...

While staying at Aureo La Union, we looked for a nearby spot with good food and luckily found Lampara Kitchen & Bar—what a gem! The menu offers a wide variety of options, from Filipino to Asian, Japanese, and Italian cuisines. My favorites were the truffle pasta, which was rich and creamy, and the spicy maki, which had just the right kick.
The food was not only delicious but also served in generous portions without hurting our pockets—such great value! The cozy ambiance made it even better, but the highlight was the warm hospitality. The owners were incredibly welcoming, and their adorable furbaby added a lovely touch to the experience.
If you’re in the San Fernando area, don’t miss out on Lampara Kitchen & Bar. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of their...
