If you’re in San Fernando, La Union and want to start your morning right, Starbucks La Union is a pretty solid choice. 🌤️ We dropped by around 7 AM, and it was surprisingly peaceful — no long lines, no crowd, just that calm beach-town atmosphere paired with the smell of freshly brewed coffee. It’s one of those rare Starbucks spots where you can actually hear yourself think.

The interiors are simple yet cozy — cool tones, comfy seating, and enough space to either hang out with friends or just enjoy a quiet coffee alone. It’s also a nice place for freelancers or travelers who need a quick work break. I could imagine myself staying here for hours with my laptop or journal, especially with the soft morning light streaming in.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the good experience. However, one thing I noticed was that a few of their usual drink options weren’t available that day. I went for an alternative, which they suggested, but it came with an extra cost even though I didn’t request any customization. It wasn’t a big deal, but it felt a bit unexpected — especially for a standard drink swap. Maybe they were just out of stock or adjusting inventory, but hopefully, they can manage that better next time.

Still, I can’t deny — the ambiance makes up for it. It’s the kind of café that invites you to slow down. Whether you’re stopping by before hitting the beach, meeting someone for a quick chat, or just having “me time,” this branch does give you that relaxed LU energy. 🏝️☕

Overall, I had a pleasant experience at Starbucks La Union. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure my order was correct and checking in if I needed anything. The coffee was delicious, as always, and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting.

However, there were two major drawbacks to my visit. First, the Wi-Fi signal was incredibly weak. I was barely able to connect, and when I did, the internet was slow and unreliable. This was a major disappointment, as I was hoping to get some work done while enjoying my coffee.

Secondly, the mobile data signal in the area was also very poor. I had difficulty making calls and sending messages. This was frustrating, as I needed to stay connected with friends and family.

While the service and coffee were excellent, the poor Wi-Fi and mobile data signal significantly impacted my experience. I would still recommend this Starbucks for a quick coffee fix, but be aware that you may have difficulty connecting online.

Tip: Kung kailangan mo ng magandang Wi-Fi connection, mas magandang pumili ng ibang...

Internet is always broken here, which is a problem because this is a low-mobile-signal area. Hope you did not plan to work here or even check your mail on phone.

It is very hot upstairs .. the building has AC, but it is rarely turned on upstairs. It is sometimes an unbearable swamp upstairs.

Delivery (via foodpanda) is often broken. E.g. it will not be turned on until afternoon (the store needs to "open" on foodpanda daily) ... and when it is "open" -- many of the basic items (such as coffee!) are not available for order. E.g. the last 3 days, coffee has not been available for delivery. How has management not noticed this?

Elyu in general has a lack of good coffee stores, so Starbucks is not the worst by far. But it is operated very poor compared to Starbucks in other areas. Employees are very nice. ...
