Out of concern for your business, I would like to share with you our family's experience at Red Rickshaw Restaurant in the evening of August 5, 2023.
We arrived at the restaurant before 8:30pm and were greeted by the waiter who said they no longer accept dine-in customers, even if the sign specifically indicated a closing time of 9pm. We pleaded for a moment and pointed out the closing time was 30 minutes away, but the waiter still refused along with the entire staff (who heard the conversation). Please see attached photo which I took after we were refused. (You will find also that cctv footage of your restaurant will corroborate this).
If it is truly your policy to refuse customers who arrive way before closing time, then my apologies for our confusion. If not, then I hope this message helps. It breaks my heart to see employees put their convenience (of going home early) first at the expense of the business which seeks to sustain their very livelihood as well as the owners. Read moreWas looking for breakfast in the Greenfield area but couldn't find much. Even walked out the ridiculously pretentious resto next to the Red Rickshaw. So not much of a choice left, so went in here.
Waiter was on point: friendly, assertive, and eager to recommend things. Can tell he's good at his job.
Went with some dimsum and Egg Foo Yung. Food was good, dimsum was made fresh.
The only bad thing about having Chinese food in the late morning is that I immediately felt sluggish and lazy afterwards. Maybe it's the msg, or just that it's Chinese food.
Perhaps I regretted it, but the food tasted okay. Maybe it'd be better to eat here for a late...
