McDonald's Agora Market — Restaurant in San Juan

My friends and I often eat here because the food is affordable, and it’s a convenient place for us to hang out. However, every time we come, we’re often interrupted by kids and beggars asking for food or money. Since we’re still students and have limited budgets, we unfortunately have to say no to them, which can sometimes feel uncomfortable.

The service at the restaurant isn’t great, but I understand because they’re usually understaffed, and the employees seem overwhelmed. What bothered us the most during our last visit was the hygiene. The cups they used for our drinks were so dirty that when we wiped the rim of the cup with a tissue, it came away with a noticeable amount of dirt. Food is OK, the usual McDo, but the atmosphere, staff, and services are not. Undermanned and slow counter service. Sometimes you may encounter rude staff on shift. Long waiting time on takeout or dine-in orders. Although there is a security guard at the entrance, this McDonald's branch is flooding with beggars (kids, adults or seniors) asking aggressively for your food, drinks or money (5 or 10 peso asking modus). Always watch your personal belongings as there are suspicious persons inside this branch pretending to be customers. Dining area could be better but a bit dirty. A major letdown among Mcdo chains in Metro Manila. Some staff act lazy and pissed if you have sudden special requests from orders. Tables are also oftentimes occupied by sleeping 'tambays' without orders and they stay/sleep there for a long time during night time...

Ordered thru mcdo app and of course paid the bill of my order however I don’t think that it’s worth my money. Sundae was already liquid when it arrived to me even though it’s only less than 2km away from my place, McChicken sandwich’s chicken is dry af and obviously fried many times na because it’s hard as rock—impossible to even bite lol, and the large fries didn’t have the content of a large fries plus it’s half cooked so it’s soggy and too oily.
