I understand that is very cheap for ramen, but you're probably better off ordering it at any other Japanese restaurant.
The noodles are too thin and rubbery and almost do not absorb any of the broth. For a chain that boasts the quality of their noodles, these are definitely sub standard to what you could buy off the grocery. The ingredients are prepared very haphazardly and you can rarely expect consistency. The chashu is bland and is rarely fresh, and the way it's cooked offers no recompense. The broth itself is poorly balanced and tastes more of seasoning and chemicals than pork bone.
Their other offerings such as gyoza and their rice bowls are also some of the worst you could try. There are definitely much cheaper places for rice bowls that deliver substantially better quality.
Only redeeming quality I would note is that their staff are definitely trained. They definitely perform better than staff at other restaurants in this range, although they still clearly falter as the place gets busier. When they are busy, it may take them as long as over 10 minutes to take your order or get the bill. On lighter hours however, there will be little delay.
Atmosphere isn't very conducive to eating. The tables and chairs are rather small and tend to be wobbly. The restaurant itself tends to feel dirty at times and it doesn't help that the kitchen and register aren't divided very well from the dining area. Their tableware also does not feel very clean and is more reminiscent of a busy fastfood restaurant in...
Read moreRamen Kuroda Mezza Residences offers one of the most delicious and tasty ramen options in town at an incredibly affordable price. The flavors and quality of their ramen are truly superb, leaving you craving for more with each visit. However, it is unfortunate that the service at this establishment tends to be quite slow. It is puzzling why it takes 45 minutes to an hour for the food to be served. This aspect of their service definitely needs improvement, as it can be frustrating for customers who are eager to enjoy their meal promptly.
On the positive side, Ramen Kuroda Mezza Residences provides multiple convenient payment options. They accept credit cards, debit cards, and even GCash, making it easy for customers to settle their bills in a manner that suits them best. This flexibility is definitely a plus point, as it enhances the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, while Ramen Kuroda Mezza Residences offers superbly delicious and affordable ramen, the slow service is a notable drawback. The restaurant should focus on improving the time it takes to serve the food, ensuring that customers can enjoy their meals without unnecessary delays. With these improvements, Ramen Kuroda Mezza Residences has the potential to become a top choice for ramen...
Read moreThe food here is incredibly delicious, just the way we like our ramen. However, the service leaves much to be desired. Our order took nearly 30-40 minutes to arrive. Additionally, we were puzzled by the refusal to allow takeout for certain ramen dishes. We explained that we were just a five-minute drive from Mezza and needed to take the food with us, but they insisted it was due to quality concerns and that we had no choice but to dine in. We believe it should be our decision to take out the food and deal with any potential quality issues ourselves. Furthermore, we repeatedly had to ask for water refills. Given that we are paying a service charge, shouldn't the staff proactively refill customers' water glasses when they see they're empty? Hope that this will...
