Pancake House (SLEX Southbound) — Restaurant in San Pedro

I had a great experience at Pancake House in Petron SLEX Southbound. I ordered the Best Taco in Town and a ham and cheese omelette, while my wife had two pancakes, additional bacon strips, and an egg. The service was impressively quick, especially considering it was the weekend. Despite the busy crowd, they immediately found us a table and provided service water right away.

Our food arrived in just about 10 minutes, which was remarkable given the number of customers. Kudos to the team for their efficiency, attentiveness, and friendly service. The ambiance was pleasant, and even with the rush of people coming in and out, the staff seemed well-prepared and handled everything smoothly.

I know there may be off days, as with any place, but based on my experience, they are definitely doing a fantastic...

Bad experience from a fave establishment :( we ordered pancakes, tacos, and club house sandwiches. But they seemed to forget the sandwiches. We finished all other meals yet the sandwiches were nowhere to be found. We kept on following up and they tried to reassure us that it would come out in 3 mins, but to no avail. :( when our orders arrived after a few more follow-ups, they were cold as a turkey.

They didn’t have a proper explanation as to how it didn’t come out on time and when it did, how it was not hot anymore (not even warm!) they just removed the sandwiches from our total bill (as they should).

Sad that as much as we have loved eating here, our experience in this specific branch would hold us back from eating at any branch...

OCT 2024 - Weekend breakfast on the way to south of NCR. Just need to wait for a couple of minutes before getting our seat... Not bad since we manage to choose our order while waiting.

The salisbury steak and carbonara with chicken chops is good. Classic pancake is just right nothing special. I got the cinnamon toasts... Food quality is not bad and pancakes are really served hot!

Service is good and for a team of 6 pax paying less than 2K. The place is not new and can be improved but over-all good experience. Will be back to check any improvements in coming months.
