š Purple Oven Santa Rosa ā White Keto Cake Review (Low-Carb Delight!)
I recently tried the White Keto Cake from Purple Oven Santa Rosa, and itās a pleasant surprise for anyone on a low-carb or keto-friendly lifestyle.
š° Taste & Texture Light, fluffy, and not overly dense ā which is impressive for a keto cake. The flavor is mildly sweet (as expected for sugar-free) with a subtle vanilla and almond note. It doesn't taste "diet" at all, which is a huge win.
š„„ Icing The frosting is creamy with a smooth, buttery texture ā possibly cream cheese or whipped butter-based ā with just the right sweetness from keto-approved alternatives (likely erythritol or monk fruit). Not grainy, which is often a risk in keto desserts.
š½ļø Serving & Portion It comes in a small but rich slice. One slice is satisfying thanks to the fat content, and it pairs perfectly with black coffee or tea.
š° Price Itās on the premium side compared to regular cakes, but you're paying for quality ingredients that align with a keto diet. Worth it if you're strict about carbs.
š Location Note: Purple Oven Nuvali, Santa Rosa remains consistent with their presentation and packaging ā neat, minimalist, and classy.
ā Overall Rating: 5/5 Delicious for a keto-friendly treat. If you're cutting carbs but still want a quality dessert experience, this white keto cake hits the mark ā...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTheyāre still not providing EVEN JUST A RIBBON TIE for their cake. It is not even properly sealed - no scotch tape at all. Given that cakes are delicate, how come their packaging are not secured? Others even provide a FREE PAPERBAG/ECOBAG. Their staff will just tell you - āBring Your Own Ecobagā po kami. But it is not even posted anywhere. This is the 3rd time that I bought cake from them without even just a tie. This is such an issue for me because I have a child (to hold her hand while we cross the street. The branch in Nuvali requires you to cross the street) and our bags that I should bįŗ¹ attending to. Without proper packaging like an ecobag, how can you ensure that the cake would safely arrive to the celebrant. Yes they have an ecobag that is for sale but how come that it is not included in the price already? The first time that I encountered this cake without a ribbon tie, I even communicated it to their head office but it seems like they are not listening to their clientās feedback. It seems like this is the only cake shop that do not provide a safe and secure packaging even if their cakes are on the pricier side.
Lastly, this cake pictured on this review that we bought today is still FROZEN. So we still need to wait for it to thaw before we can eat it with the celebrant. :( Such a disappointing experience with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited this bakeshop for the first time, and I couldnāt be happier with my experience! I ordered their Chocolate Campfire Cake as an anniversary cake for my wife, and it truly exceeded my expectations. Itās the best chocolate cake Iāve ever tastedārich, moist, and perfectly balanced in sweetness.
As someone who prefers desserts that arenāt overly sweet, this cake hit all the right notes. The icing on top complemented the flavors so well, and the little chunks of cake inside added a delightful texture. Every bite felt like it was made with so much love and care.
The bakeshop itself is cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can feel their passion not just in the food but also in how they treat their customers.
I only wish they could expand their delivery to more areas, as it would be so convenient to enjoy their amazing cakes more often. That said, this visit wonāt be my lastāIām already looking forward to trying more of their treats. Highly recommended for anyone who loves...
