The Morning After Nuvali — Restaurant in Santa Rosa

The Morning After is located on Solenad 3, Nuvali, Santa Rosa. I liked the ambience of the place because of the greens outside of the restaurant. It somehow gave some kind of morning garden breakfast. They also have set up tables outside but we opted to eat inside their air conditioned area. When we visited on a Friday morning, we ordered: I had Trio of Longganisa (Vigan, Lukban and TMA), my friends had ordered: Strawberry and Cream Waffle, Steak and Eggs, Coffee, Bacon and Eggs and other items that I forgot. The Bacon and Eggs were not remarkable as my sister described it (she almost forgot what she ordered becuase...it was not remarkable). The Trio of Longganisa was okay, its just your local longganisa eaten with vinegar and friend rice. Although, I must say the serving was big, so that was a positive. So breakfast at The Morning After was just...

We just ate lunch in their branch in Nuvali.

My comments: Porkchop was served so late. It was served in a pasta bowl. Its mashed steamed potato with gravy on top has no taste at all. The porkchop sauce below the plate tasted sour.

The following were our orders that had strong soury taste too and lacked seasoning: Marinated bangus, porkchop, and beef tapa.

The taste of sugar was obvious in the Chicken and Corn soup. Thus, it tasted weird especially if one is used to in eating the said soup in classy Chinese restaurants and hotels.

Clubhouse sandwich was average. It was served with french fries that tasted as if it was fried from the same oil used in frying bagnet.

Food servers were quite a number however their service...

Service: they need lots of improvement. We were five guests, and only two dishes were served on time. One dish was served after a follow up, and another dish was cancelled after two follow-ups (host advised that the dish will be ready in two minutes, but we were already done with the other dishes for some time already).

Steak and Eggs: host asked how I'd like my steak (medium, not medium well), but was still served medium well. Taste is highly influenced by herbs.

Burger Steak: Serving was hefty, and feels heavy for the stomach. Taste is ok and is influenced by mushrooms rather than salt and pepper; consistency of patty...
