we were so hungry that we ordered almost everything on the menu except for the kafe latte and kafe jelly. you could also tell how we couldn't wait to eat because the food in our pictures were half-eaten already. LOL.

they served the crispy salad first – the crispy part comes from the fried wrapper that tastes like the wrapper from cheesesticks; the salad itself consists of cabbage, tomato, and cucumber mixed in a mayo-ketchup (i think) dressing. it's yummy and refreshing. next came the nabe yaki ramen and the napolitan spaghetti. the ramen reminded me of Korean instant noodles, maybe because of the egg. the spaghetti though is what i liked, it tastes like home.

i was most excited about the korokke because i knew this was their best-seller. boy, it did not disappoint. we would've ordered more if we weren't full. the potato inside the crispy breading is tasty!

the yaki udon was also delicious. the udon itself was chewy! the okonomiyaki was thick for my liking as i felt that it needed more cabbage, it was yummy nonetheless.

the cold champorado was served last, as a dessert. it was topped with condensed milk and powdered milk. my partner raved about this, and i agree because as someone with a sweet tooth it was indeed chocolate-y!

the staff were friendly and the service was fast. you have the freedom to take down your order on their order slip, and you simply have to give it to the staff afterwards. they accept gcash as a mode of payment.

this was such a long review. I've been eyeing this place since the height of the pandemic. i somehow have a glimpse of what homemade japanese food tastes like, being half japanese myself. experiencing your food felt like home, so...

We just found out this place while driving on that small road. We stopped by in the morning when mother and daughter patrons were preparing the food. We came back a few days later late afternoon to try their food. It was great.

Food. We tried the pickled radish, not for everyone, but it was good as a side. We had to try their famous korooke (squash croquettes) and regular ramen. They also have mild and spicy if that's your thing. Both were delicious. We also tried the crispy salad, a salad served in a fried cone. Very good as well. Our least favourite was the okonomiyaki, which was very salty for our taste.

Service. Great. You get your order slip when entering, you can add anytime, and you pay when leaving. The staff was very quick to clean after customers leave, which is needed since they have many customers who come to grab a bite and run after 10 to 15 minutes. They are also fast to prepare the food. And also polite.

Atmosphere. Rustic wooden tables in an air-conditioned room, with comfort rooms. Alcohol available. Very quiet. I don't even remember if there was some kind of background music. Customers seem to be returns used to this place. We will probably become returns ourselves too since we live just nearby.

Parking. None, you will need to park somewhere nearby. They do have a few spots for...

Kojiro is one of the best finds in terms of good-tasting foods at very affordable prices! I love their Koroke, Crispy Salad, Napolitan Spaghetti, Kafe Latte and Kafe Jelly! I definitely want to try the rest, especially their Okonomiyaki and Nabe Yaki Ramen. The staff were accommodating and fast servers. We hope the place can still expand to have more customers to enjoy. It has a limited space, too, in their parking space. But definitely, we will come back soon! I thank the special guy who referred me...
