We ate here last 17 March 2024 as we checked out from our silang staycation coz we wanted to try and experience the place and the fact that we're really hungry.
Food - Average There is nothing to "wow" about. The roasted chicken they served is overcooked and bland. The beef in kansi bulalo was not well cooked/boiled resulting for a tough meat The pitcher of iced tea was not mixed well as the powder had settled in the bottom of the pitcher
Service - Very Poor Waiting to be seated is a given since it's lunch time. But waiting for your food to be served for more than 30minutes is not! We even made an advance order for them to prepare our food so we will not wait that long. I even followed it up at the counter twice. The first food that they have served is the kansi bulalo. They just placed it on the table without starting the fire for the soup to be hot coz it's not hot. We asked one server to do it for us to be able to start eating. We also asked for bowls. We asked for a knife and fork for us to be able to cut the meat. We asked for calamansi, sili. We asked for everything that should be served automitacally together with our orders! When we asked for a soup refill for the bulalo, they have told us that kansi bulalo soup is not refillable. Then why did they not informed us about that when we ordered? We expected that the soup is unlimited just like all the restos selling bulalo in silang-tagaytay? We should have ordered the regular one! It's not even noted on the menu! Then after a while our orders are coming one at a time. But unfortunately, we did not enjoy the food. We were just really hungry and waited for a long time. Their service is very poor. The staffs were not attentive. The serving time is super long.
Place - Average. Cool weather coz it's silang.
Price - so-so Expected price on a restaurant in silang-tagaytay

Read moreWe ordered their Boodle Fight Overload (good for 10pax) and their Bulalo. And at first impression it aesthetically looks good (as shown on the photos). However it's dissapointing that the serving size is not fitting to what we paid for and all of our food is already cold when they served it, even the Bulalo and rice. According to the menu, the Boodle Fight includes a dessert however we did not receive any. We paid 8k+ including the 700+ service charge for 7 adults and 3 children, which is very pricey. For me, it is not worth it considering there are other really good resto in Tagaytay and other Filipino resto that can serve better food (quality and quantity-wise) with that price range.
With regards to the ambiance and atmosphere of the place, it's nice and windy (the normal Tagaytay vibes). It's good for picture-taking with the kubos and all, but that's all that there is. We dined in their kubo, however, it only fits max of 8 pax as also mentioned by them (and looks like they only have the same size for all of their kubo). So it's somehow cramped/crowded for us, but we wanted to try it. I suggest for big groups to just dine in in their resto dining area. Kudos to their servers as they are approachable and they are organized when it comes to their queuing system, they also have a waiting area.
But overall, if you're looking for really good food with the same concept (kubo), there are other better choices in Tagaytay. But if you just want to go to Pamahaw for picture-taking and the ambiance, it's...
