The food that we ordered were Chicken Parmigiana (Php495), Pepperoni Pizza (Php850), Tiramisu Cheesecake (Php290), 3 canned Coke (Php120/can), and 1 Bottled water (Php60/bottle).
Everything is delicious. The pizza is a must try because it's not too thick nor thin and baked just right, the chicken parmigiana with rice was so tasty that my son who's a picky eater loves it. It's crunchy too and the cheese is gooey. Though the tiramisu cheesecake is delicious but the texture when getting a slice goes crumbled. The coffee flavor is not that strong and the base bread is thin.
The service is a bit slow especially when we ordered a meal. But it is understandable as there's a vast line of order for coffees and cakes. I must admit that the price is very expensive so if you're planning to go here, you have to be ready with your pockets.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed and pets are also not allowed inside. So if you are bringing your pets, you can stay at their al fresco side.
Parking is limited in front but you can park anywhere along the road of Crosswind drive. You need to have your parking ticket validated by purchasing anything in Napa, Ruined Project, Cafe Voila, and the Coffee Project. It has to be Php500 in value as there's a signage along the road about the parking fees.
The ambiance in the Ruined Project is relaxing and very inviting. The dining area is clean and well lit. Though both the Loos (CR) became common for both sex so expect it a bit stinky. No hand dryer but tissue is abundant. They have deodorizer but it is not too strong.
They have WIFI but I didn't know. I was not advised by the lady cashier that the password is found at the bottom of the receipt. I only get to find out when I checked the receipt on our way out. Lol.
If you want to dine in at Napa, you need to have a reservation for tables. Just across the Napa entrance, you'll see a small gazebo with an attendant enlisting for table reservations. We'll try this next time as the line to get serve will take us at no.15.
Overall experience was great. Kudos for no mosquitos inside the restaurant. We'll definitely be back here.
PS. Not crowded today (Sunday) probably because it is not payday yet. So better come here on weekdays or not payday schedule to maximize your stay out of the crowds.
PPS. My husband and I are not a fan of coffee drinks that's why we didn't order because we both have...
Read moreThis was our go-to place every time we visit that side of Tagaytay. We've actually brought people here several times in the past few years. However, after today, I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon. To be fair, the the food is ok, albeit on the higher price range. Our go-to egg dish for bfast is about 400+ and the pork belly with rice that I ordered earlier today is 500+ ( 2 smallish pieces of pork). However, knowing that this place caters to discerning diners (because of the price), I never understand why the servers don't give knives unless you ask them. I've called their attention about it several times in the past. I mean, how are you supposed to cut pork or butter your toast WITHOUT a knife?! The second to the last time I visited, I even wrote it (my observation) down on my receipt before I left, hoping that providing knives becomes their SOP the next time I visit. Alas, it was knife upon request again today. I mean why do we even have to even say that "I need a knife"? Shouldn't they already know this? Even if this place is self-service, they should know that their customers are most likely the types who eat with knives. (Note that some of the servers are familiar to me) Second, while ordering earlier today, there were many items that were unavailable! All chicken dishes AND the halo-halo which I was the most excited about, were out-of -stock. It was such a let-down. Third, they only accepted cash today. We were told that there was a system change, so they didn't accept cc nor Gcash. Good thing my friend had cash. Imagine if all of us didn't have cash? It would be hard to leave and transfer restaurants too because parking inside Crosswinds is not free (500 - with 300 consumable). Parking has to be paid even BEFORE going into the restaurant. Lastly, today I was told that they don't provide water via H20 dispensers anymore. Hello, since when? You now have to BUY bottled water for 70 bucks. C'mon! Oh well. Oh edit to add: *the bathroom didn't have soap from the time that we arrived until we left 1.5 hrs later they served my PHP500+ dish on a chipped plate (see...
Read moreMaganda yung place , open air, Marami seating capacity, very busy on a Sunday morning. Marami riders use this as their breakfast place so added eye candy narin dun sa Mga motorcycle enthusiasts to see Mga big bikes.
Need to show vaccine card upon entry. Order sa counter, many choices. We ordered the ham and cheese croissant 🥐 and the sweet potato cake and caramel latte. They open as early as 8am (or even maybe earlier). Since alert level 3, less crowd. We found a seat immediately. Tons of parking.
Cons: they really need to pay attention to cleanliness. Maybe add more ground staff to clean the tables , self service area and restroom. Restrooms aren’t maintained well.
Major hygiene issue nung I told them na Wala na water yung dispenser sa self service area. One of the staff changed the water but touched the spout that goes in the water. Thing is, he’s the same staff cleaning tables and floor. 🙈 wag ganun, iniinom natin yung water, Atleast clean your hands muna. 🙈
Price for the food is unreasonable. Price is for the ambiance. Pero this is tagaytay, everything is overpriced so expect mo na. The ham and cheese had very little ham and cheese. Pero masarap yung sweet potato cake and caramel latte. It took a while for the order to arrive, Marami Kasi tao.
Verdict: babalik ako but not for the water 💦 well pwede rin that’s just the tip of the iceberg sa bad hygiene, only god knows what goes on to those we don’t see. 😱 but then again, that could be any restaurant. Still, better na they retrain the staff on...
