If you'll go here try the weekdays! Just like NAPA and the Ruins this place is very crowded on weekends. I visited the place around 8 am on a Sunday, and of course its crowded. 😁 IF you are here for the coffee, your order will be served way faster than the savory dishes. The waiting time for these dishes takes an hour(announced by the attendant while we were waiting in line to order which by the way was very long... It took me about 30 mins to order). While waiting you could probably take a snap of the place first. ❤️ For the coffee and Pastries I ordered it only took them 5 minutes so Good job! Try the Vietnamese Coffee and Tsokalate Batirol they were both great not so sweet and just right for my taste! And the pastries are surprisingly delicious, so it's a must try! I ordered both chocolate and coffee raisin cinnamon rolls and they are both great! I wasn't able to take a shot of my food because I changed my mind and have them all for to go as I mentioned earlier it was crowded so instead of staying there I enjoyed it in the car😂 I also got myself a bagel for to go too, bought some cream cheese with a cup of coffee when I got home❤️ The place itself is Instagramable, every inch of it shouts "take a snap" the food presentation is tip-top (based on what I see others are ordering😁) everything looks good! Sorry I can't tell you about the taste, coz I didn't order any 😂(1hour wait time? No thanks!) All in all my initial experience was nothing expectacular, I'd probably come back here to try the food but I'd wait for the hype to die down so I can enjoy it😂 For those who wants to go here, ask the guards to guide you on how to go there. OR here 👉From the guard station turn right on the First Street, at the end of the street turn left. After that just head straight and believe me it's gonna be an UP-HILL BATTLE 😂 so be ready😂 Enjoy the view, take a snap and make some memories!

Part of restos/cafes you can visit if you decide to visit Crosswinds Tagaytay. It's a property development area, with the selling point that this huge tract of land being developed has an air of being in an alpine county; but for me it's akin to being inside Camp John Hay in Baguio City before they built those horrendous private houses. At the main road entrance you tell the guard you'd like to have a drive around and probably look for a prospective lot you can buy and build on. Guard will issue you a tear-off stub ticket with a 300 and 200 printed on it (P500 total which you pay immediately). This will allow you to enter and have a drive through this huge place. Scattered around are some restos and coffee shops/cafes (total of 7 or 9 establishments if I heard him right the first time) of which the P300 part of the ticket can be used to pay part of your bill (consumable order on all of the establishments). Mind you an order of 16 oz cafe latte is already priced at P295, what a rip off. We just wanted to have a look around and planned to eat at Balay Daku later but not wanting to waste that 300, we're "obligated" to buy something just for the sake of using it. The P200 part you surrender to the same guard once you leave the property. Because my companion is really interested at looking to buy a prospective property, the drive through was acceptable. Otherwise, paying for a P500 ticket just to get some IG/selfies and an overpriced grub is just ludicrous, me thinks.

Honest Review. Crosswinds may initially captivate visitors with its serene and picturesque atmosphere, but unfortunately, the experience falls short in terms of services, stores, and overall value. One of the most glaring issues is the misleading parking advertisement. They promote a parking fee of 700 pesos with a 400-peso consumable value, but upon arrival, guards inform you that this offer is no longer available. Instead, visitors must pay a 500-peso parking fee that is entirely non-consumable, which feels like an unwelcome surprise. The stores themselves leave much to be desired. The comfort rooms are unclean, raising serious doubts about the hygiene and sanitation standards of their kitchens. This is especially concerning for a destination where dining is a primary attraction. As for the food, it is overpriced and underwhelming. Main dishes start at 600 pesos, and drinks cost around 500 pesos, making it a costly experience that might not be justifiable for many. The taste and quality do not live up to the premium price point, leaving visitors feeling disappointed and underserved. In summary, while Crosswinds and Lausanne offer a visually appealing setting, their services, hygiene standards, and dining options do not match the price or expectations. Unless you’re willing to splurge for the setting alone, it’s a destination better skipped.

The food and ambiance = great. As someone who lives in Crosswinds, it’s nice to be able to have more dining options in the area.

The reason I only gave 3 starts is because of their service and cleanliness.

The area gets packed with customers and they’re pretty under-staffed. Orders take about 30-40 mins to arrive at a busy time and you still see leftover plates and dirty tables from those who previously dined. They don’t seem to clean the tables voluntarily, which I think should be automatic to bus out + wipe especially on the second level. We ate on a dirty table cause the patience level was already running low and we knew if we asked for someone to clean it, it would probably take another 30 minutes.

The service wasn’t something I was impressed with either. Food didn’t arrive hot and the cashier was always doing something else when we wanted to order and I asked a question 3X to get a response as she was busy with other things. I was in the middle of ordering and she left to do something as I was mid-sentence. I cant blame her though as it was busy and I’m sure she was just trying to fill the tasks where they lacked as they’re understaffed. I think attentiveness makes a big impact so the management should consider hiring more people for the cleaning and perhaps help their employees not to wear too many hats at the same time so it doesn’t affect the quality. The place has a lot...
