I’ve got a little coffee secret to share with you: it’s Blk 69, tucked away in Pembo, Makati. Here’s the scoop—I ordered their 12oz cold brew for a pocket-friendly 69 pesos.
Now, this cold brew won’t win any awards for gourmet flair, but it’s surprisingly decent for the price. Just the right amount of coffee goodness with a hint of bitterness, perfect for a quick pick-me-up.
What’s cool about Blk 69 is its location. While my laundry was churning away at the ground level, this café was conveniently perched just above on the second floor. Talk about multi-tasking! It makes your laundry day feel a lot less tedious.
As for the café itself, it’s got a chill, rustic vibe going on. Wooden decor, stool seating, and some of the friendliest staff around—it’s an inviting spot to enjoy your coffee and take a breather.
Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast like me or just looking for a laid-back place to sip a reasonably priced brew while your laundry spins below, Blk 69 is a must-visit. It’s a hidden gem in...
Read moreI thought that this place was large but when I got there it was small and you couldn't gather here if you had big barkada. It is accessible since it is located near J.P Rizal Ext. Pateros, and Comembo. The ambience is nice, with free wifi, socket all over the café, and air-conditioned. Not that aesthetic, as all teens like. They offer a lot of options from silog, dessert, and drinks. Their playlist is updated, which is nice since most of their customers are students.
I recommend the croffle, I didn't expect it to be great since they only have a small kitchen, but it is super good! The drinks are good too, they don't put a lot of ice, yey! I didn't expect that the nachos would be large chips. We didn't eat it all since we were already full. The price range is affordable.
Edit: They've moved to the new location at Kamagong Street. Just walking distance from the old location. They changed into...

I was dumbfounded, You ask something as simple as the beans used, you'd get a blank stare as a response. The coffee, ain't good. Would pass as so-so for the price. A piece of advice, train your bar staff. The place looks nice tho. It's giving off rustic x industrial laid-back ambiance. Food choices, limited & slow serving. It's a coffee shop, so expected that the highlight of the business is...
