Shakey's — Restaurant in Taguig

Took a trike at the F. Cayetano branch and initially ordered buy 1 take 1 pizza to go but changed my mind. The card paent hasn't been transacted when I decided to order a large pizza, chicken n mojos, soda, chicken nuggets that came with smores for takeout. At first, the order taker Francis refused to change my order. Another female personnel came to tell me that it will be charged to the person, but I argued that my order has gone bigger and the management would be unfair to charge the initial one to the personnel who took the order when it was the customer who changed her mind. The personnel said she'll take care of it when I said we can just revert to my initial order. I also requested for 4 thighs as we have 4 kids who we all wanted to have similar parts. The request was met with much hesitation, but we told them we were willing to wait, so we did. The staff forgot to cook the smores and so everything in my order had gotten cold by the time the smores arrived. When we arrived at our house which is just a kilometer away, everything except for the smores was hot. What's worse is that the chicken didn't taste as if it had just gotten out of the fryer, but refried because it was cold yet overcooked. The meat was dry, the batter was salty and bitter. It wasnt even golden brown, but way darker than burnt amber. Because my kids couldn't finish the chicken, they gave the rest to our cats who wouldn't even eat the big meaty leftovers. When you enter, sitting area on right side looks decent while on the other hand area on the left side looks half finished with lots of empty space. This area is also used to assembling boxes and some stocks, it really looks unpleasant. This should be done away from customers eyes in a separated place. Once I sit the guard delivered the menu while employee kept on ignoring me. There was one just next to my table doing assemling and he didn't even try to say that someone will come and serve me, or he didn't even think of doing it on his own, or give attention to his colleagues. He just kept doing it and ignoring that there is an customer waiting. After a bit more then 15 minutes I just left the place. Few employees had their back turned towards the section where i sit and I guess due to reason that this place is just recently opened dedicated manager has not yet adapted and doesn't have control of the place. Rating of this place would be 1 but due respect of hardworking people in the kitchen and trust that they make good meals i give higher rate. This place needs to work on how to handle customers properly. Hope it does improve as I still would like to taste their meals. To add this place does have decent parking...

This branch of Shakey’s is the worst, some branch are bad but this one is the worst. This restaurant chain is trying to fool their customer or at least the employees are the one doing it and the higher management have no idea about it. I ordered the Pizza Combo with coke via grab. When the order arrived I was surprised that the pizza was cut unevenly the slices are not matched. It was like parts from different leftover pizza that was assembled together to make one piece. I couldn’t blame the delivery man since the packaging was sealed. So this happened really at the store while the crew prepare the food. The pizza was also cold given the store is very near how come the food gets cold very fast? They are doing this for delivery orders since customers can’t complain right ahead. People should speak about this. We need to report this to DTI that this big chains are fooling their customers.
