It's my first time to try their food, I ordered thru Grabfood.
I ordered 4 pcs. Lumpiang Shanghai which taste like the typical fastfood Lumpiang Shanghai, it was still warm and very crunchy but lacks the flavor, I'm giving 2 stars rating for this. The Chami was still very warm, noodles were cooked just right, taste good, I'm giving it 4 stars rating.
They have many choices in their menu, that I might still try but I might not order their Lumpiang Shanghai anymore.
I hope to try their dine in someday to properly rate the atmosphere and edit this review.
The service rate is based on how they packed the food.
Update:
I ordered again thru Grab food , Lomi and Pancit Miki Bihon. For it's price, the serving size is good and both taste good, there are enough veggies and meat. Though for us the Lomi is much better in taste. I edited the 3 stars for food and made it 4 stars.
Another update😊:
We were able to vist for dine in finally, we tried their pork barbeque, Lumpiang Hanoi is good, 4 stars for those. We also tried their Siomai, it's not that good, only 2 stars for us. We also ordered their Pancit Bihon miki, I noticed the dine in serving of the pancit looks more than the one I ordered thru Grab food delivery. They give free soup for dine in. The dining area is only good for 24 pax. The restroom was clean, the staffs were very polite and attentive. But there's a very limited parking space, they have like 3 to 4 motorcycles for delivery, only 1 parking slot for a car and a bit tight parking space if...
Read moreWhat We Liked: • The pork BBQ is delicious — even better than Lapid’s — and more reasonably priced. • The chicken inasal BBQ has a surprisingly authentic Bacolod-style flavor (but see notes under What Could Be Better). • The spaghetti is tasty and flavorful (but also see notes under What Could Be Better). • The pichi-pichi is excellent — dense, satisfying, and definitely better than Amber’s, which tends to be airy and less filling. • Overall, prices are better compared to Amber’s.
What Could Be Better: • The chicken inasal BBQ could use a bit more basting with annatto oil — it looked a little pale. • The spaghetti noodles could be cooked a little more al dente; they were slightly soggy from sitting in the sauce. • Delivery was late — we requested 6:00 PM, but it arrived at 6:30 PM.
Conclusion: Overall, this was a good experience. The food was flavorful, satisfying, and reasonably priced. A few small improvements — especially on the spaghetti’s noodle texture, and delivery timing — would make it even better. This is a worthy...
Read moreThis homey Taguig resto was a revelation! Pork barbecue was divine! It's a must-try for first-timers like me. Their lumpiang Shanghai was heaven in every bite. Their crispy pata was delectable and crispy - a dream come true for foodies who crave for such Pinoy favorites. Taste of Joy's Pancit Malabon was superb! In my book, it ranks number one among the other pancit Malabons I had ever tried. Not to mention their pichi-pichi... my goodness! It melts in the mouth. This place reminds you of home and family reunions where the OG titas and titos bring their own share to the potluck table. Warning: you must dine in with an empty stomach for you to have enough room for these joyfully tasty Pinoy specialties.
Service was 5/5 stars! Dining experience was pleasant. Place is 26 mins away from BGC. All in all, it was a delightful experience. Visit Taste of Joy Taguig today! OR, you may avail of their delivery services. 😍❤️👌
