Me and my wife decided to eat there last night. The waiter gave us the table against the glass wall and near the entance to the kitchen. While we wait for our table to be cleaned, we saw a cockroach crawling on the glass wall just above our table. The waiter immediately pulled some tissues from the tissue box on the table and covered the cockroach before killing it. Didn't say anything and just shrugged his shoulder as if it was nothing. Then while waiting for our food to be served, small cockroaches crawled out from the tissue box on the table. I looked at my wife and just shook my head out of dismay. Food was served and we were enjoying our feast when another bigger cockroach suddenly appeared on the chair at the other side of the table. It was then that I had enough and lost my appetite. Imagine those roaches roaming in the dining area, I wonder how much more in the kitchen and food preparation area? Perhaps more than you could imagine!. I called the waiter, showed him the crawling roach and told him to tell the manager to schedule a pest control or else they might face bigger problems when other meticulous customers would happen to see those roaches...the waiter just slapped the cockroach with his bare hands and said not to worry because they have actually scheduled a pest control. I just dont know if I can believe him. Then he goes back in serving other customers without washing his hands. Next thing I saw he is serving food and glasses of water with the same hands he used to slapped the roaches with.. Yuck!!! I don't think we will ever eat there again..SO...
Β Β Β Read moreGrabe talaga. Nag-order kami nung rice bowl nila, saken yung spareribs with chicken feet tapos yung kasama ko ng beef brisket with vegetables tapos hakaw.
Sobrang onti ng ulam! Like as in 7 pirasong karne yung spareribs tapos panay buto pa. I mean, spareribs is expected to have bones, pero may laman dapat 'di ba?
English: It's really unbelievable. We ordered their rice bowls, I got the spareribs with chicken feet and my companion got the beef brisket with vegetables and hakaw.
The serving of the main dish was so small! Like, the spareribs only had 7 pieces of meat and it was mostly bones. I mean, I know spareribs have bones, but there should be some meat on them, right? Theirs had barely any meat, my skin was thicker than the meat itself. And my companion's dish also had very little meat and it was bland. I had high expectations for Chinese restaurants but this Hap Chan in Vista Mall was really disappointing. It seems like they have no quality control over the taste and serving size. I hope they improve their service.
And the Hakaw, oh my goodness. It was the only thing we were expecting to be good because we've never had bad hakaw before, but at Hap Chan Vista Mall, we tasted hakaw that tasted like flour, even the shrimp tasted like flour. Yes, we dipped it in soy sauce with chili sauce but it felt like we were dipping flour in soy sauce. It was terrible. I hope they improve the quality of their food's taste. It's just sad...
Β Β Β Read moreMy wife and I were craving for Hap Chan's mixed meat pancit canton so we visited it today with our 13-year old grandson.
We tried the hotpot Litson Macao with tofu since the menu picture was very enticing. We were kinda disappointed because the Litson Macao is just an ordinary boiled piece of fatty pork kasim or pige.
The mixed meat pancit canton was still the same but with less meat than before.
I'm kinda happy in today's bill as the cashier applied the correct...
