Gerry's Grill in Sierra Valley offered a pleasant dining atmosphere and commendable service during our dinner visit on May 30, 2025. The ambiance is certainly a strong point, providing a comfortable and inviting setting for a meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, contributing to a positive initial impression. However, the highlight of any restaurant visit, the food, unfortunately fell short of expectations, particularly the Grilled Squid (PHP 650). While the flavor profile was undeniably delicious, the squid itself was significantly overcooked. The texture was overwhelmingly gummy, making it a struggle to eat. Even more disappointing was that a few slices were so incredibly tough they were practically inedible. When the manager inquired about our dining experience, we politely brought the issue with the grilled squid to their attention. Unfortunately, despite expressing our disappointment with the dish and its considerable price, no action was taken. We would have greatly appreciated some form of compensation, perhaps a discount on the squid or even a brief discussion with the chef regarding the preparation. This lack of response left us feeling unheard and somewhat undervalued as customers. On a brighter note, the Sisig we ordered was thoroughly enjoyable. It was flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing the potential of Gerry's Grill's kitchen. Overall: Gerry's Grill in Sierra Valley presents a mixed experience. The nice ambiance and attentive service are definitely plus points. However, the poorly executed and overpriced Grilled Squid, coupled with the lack of resolution after bringing it to the manager's attention, significantly detracted from our dining experience. While the Sisig was a redeeming dish, the inconsistency in food quality...

Food: love love love the sinigang na boneless bangus, it is my first time to try their version and they add in puso ng saging, giving it a little bit of banana's sweet flavor, but very subtle and in a nice way.
However, the inihaw na tuna belly was overgrilled. It was so dry, almost black when it came to our table, I could not appreciate the tuna meat.
Restroom: Disaster. Literally had human dirt on the floor, after my trip to the restroom I could not finish my food with the fresh memory of the smell. Hoping they have someone check on the cleanliness not only of the dining area but also the restroom.
Service: crew is quite friendly. But we did not ask for too much so I guess I could not share more about it.
Parking: shared within the Sierra...

I recently dined at Gerry’s Grill in Sierra Valley Commercial Strip, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was flavorful and well-prepared, as expected from Gerry’s, but I was a bit disappointed when my fried chicken arrived late compared to the rest of our orders.
The delay was noticeable, but the staff was polite and apologized for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Once the chicken arrived, it was hot, crispy, and delicious, so the taste definitely made up for the wait.
If you’re looking for good Filipino comfort food, Gerry’s Grill won’t disappoint, but they might need to improve the speed of service during busy hours. I’d still recommend it, and I’ll definitely be back to try...
