I brought pound of coffee beans to in the store and asked if they can grind the coffee for me. It was from Starbucks Canada. They allowed me to have it grounded but the supervisor declined when they saw the best before date month as 'MA' (which is May). I came in April. The supervisor then declined saying it was March (MR). Other than that, the employees during the night time on this occasion were helpful.
A different day. I was made to wait for almost 5 minutes in front of the counter. The cafe and the drive-thru didn't look busy enough to think that they have almost 10 people on the floor. Nobody greeted me and I was only given passing gazes. The customers behind me were also asking if I was in line. The baristas didn't care until I asked them if they are taking orders in the cafe. I still had to wait for a couple of minutes before they took my order. They should have their assigned tasks and stations but I didn't understand why the cash register didn't have anyone to take orders. They weren't friendly either, like they hated their job so much.
On another separate occasion, I ordered a few drinks, a dessert, and a pastry inside the cafe. I got my incomplete order and had to wait for my croissant for more than 15 minutes—for a croissant—that warms up in a couple of minutes.
