We intentionally drove all the way from Mandaluyong to try this restaurant, braving the weekday afternoon traffic. I can’t say that the dining experience was a disappointment—I mean, we had a decent meal—but nothing amazing really that made the drive and traffic worth it. The grilled meats on sticks were supposed to be their specialty, but we thought it’s nothing speciall, just ok. We weren’t fans of the dipping sauce that came with them. We thought it’s too sweet and lacked sourness. So we “modified” it by adding vinegar and calamansi. The calamares was also just ok. I’d say I’ve had better from those peddled on the streets. Again, not bad at all, but nothing special either. The bone marrow was good. A bit on the salty side, but quite delicious. The Tokwa’t Baboy was better, with the pork perfectly salted and fried. The tokwa (tofu) were cooked well too. What was a standout for us was the chopseuy. Probably one of the best we’ve had in a long time. The quality of service was mediocre. The staff were unattentive and were not making any effort to proactively check if customers needed their assistance. We had to make a considerable effort (vigorously waving our hands and clapping) to get their attention. The loud music and the noise outside didn’t help. Anyway, back to the staff—though they weren’t impolite or rude, they didn’t exude any warmth or friendliness either. Not the type that would inspire/motivate you to leave a generous tip. The service was also slow and serving of food was done haphazardly: our rice wasn’t served until more than 10 minutes after the grilled meats were served. Our other orders (chopseuy, calamares, bone marrow) weren’t served until past the 20-minute mark. They do have a good parking area, good for about seven vehicles, and it’s free. And you can even have your car washed here while you’re dining, as they have carwash service too. Overall, this is a decent restaurant. If you’re nearby, it’s good enough for a hearty meal. But if you’re coming from a far place (ex. QC, Makati, etc), I’m not sure it’s worth the drive/travel.

just had my late night dinner with my friends at Isaw Haws which was unplanned, but we ended up dissatisfied with the whole experience. the female food attendant was too lousy in taking orders and we even corrected her as she repeated our orders. the grilled foods came fast but they were already cold. we just tried to understand that we came almost 40 mins before closing time. when all my friends' rice meal orders came, i was waiting for my chicken inasal but the waitress missed that again. it really made me lose my appetite. the place also had a lot of mosquitoes which we tried to understand since summer already started and that it's an al fresco resto.

If you want to grab and drink beer with lots of Pulutan options, this is the place. They have small cottages with minimum consumable rates, very good for barkada drinking session and bonding. Their signature Pork and Chicken Intestine "Isaw" was actually very good! A must try! I also ordered a few sticks for take away. The Kare Kare on the other hand, does not agree with my tounge. Food and Drinks are reasonably priced. Limited Parking, hard to park during Gimik Friday and Saturday Nights. Service is a bit slow, but still acceptable. Atmosphere is OK, nothing special. Will still go back for their BBQs ofcourse! So far experience was good. 👍

I live 1.5km away and is my second time to have food delivered from Isaw Haus, Ortigas Ave ext. on the 2 instances I've called the delivery number 6612913, the girl who answers that number always speaks to me in a condescending tone and never got my contact number to get back to me. I let it pass the first time, because the delivery got to my home anyway, but this one instance, delivery took a little longer, so I called again to ask for ETA of our order. in an almost interruptive way and the usual condescending tone, she just said, "1 and a half." nothing more. no 'hours', no 'ma' am', no nothing. I mean, thanks for the good food, but with all due respect, please remind your staff of proper customer service. I've also had instances with unfriendly staff when I used to dine in your restaurant.

Thank you for your action to my concern. I called just now to have food delivered again and all that I have mentioned above were addressed well - she got my name, contact number, gave me an ETA, and most of all, had a very pleasant tone. now...

If we didn't follow up for our orders, I don't think our food will arrive. 😅

Mind you, our table was on front of the cashier.

When I followed up for the order after 30 mins, the male personnel doltishly answered "what's the order?"

My partner just looked at the personnel, and then as if he remembered the order. 😅

Then there was service water given. (They could have served it initially before we followed up)

Food served cold. Meaning they didn't even reheat it ahehe. So what was the wait? The Grilled pork was over-grilled. Lols Felt like you are eating charcoal.

Terrible service. I arrived there with a great mood, only to receive a bad experience from them.

Imagine? You arrived first, and the second, third, fourth, and fifth customers ate before you. 😂😅 So funny.

That was the worst restaurant/dining experience I...
