The short version: Huge value and great food!
Full version below: We live on the road traveling full time so we visit a lot of restaurants in a lot of places. Easily the best restaurant experience I've had in over a month!!
Service = 5* The staff is patient, professional, clean, fast, attentive (but not obnoxious) and friendly. These people pay attention! Given the way we ordered the staff realized we were planning to share the various dishes and they brought us side plates without us needing to ask.
Food = 5* Cesar salad, good portion for one, plentiful regarding toppings. Only thing I would suggest is serving the dressing on the side as it was too much dressing for us. But, it was all very good tasting and fresh. Chicken burger, more meat than bun, great taste, unique and well done toppings (the grilled onion was a wonderful surprise). Great sandwich! Feedback here would be to either include more 'salad' or remove salad as an inclusion on the menu as honestly the amount was only a garnish, not enough to be called a salad. All meats pizza, plenty of toppings, fresh, great crust, sause was good. No feedback to provide, it was great! Mango Shake, tall glass filled over the top with a wonderful blend the consistency of ice-cream. Best thing, the staff asked how much sugar we wanted and since we don't like a lot of sugar = HUGE WIN!
Location = 5* Just off the main road on a pleasantly quiet street is where this place sits. Decor is wonderful, seating is great, the place is clean and you just have a comfy feeling when you're there. Don't know what else you could ask for... though it looks as though they lose about half of thier seating when it's raining (something you might consider if it's raining when you think to go).
Extra bits = 5* No plastic waste going on here! Metal straws for the huge win! Regular adult sized napkins! Small touch that was very nice! Flatware was clean and of good quality.
We stopped here after having a wonderful day and this was really the icing on the cake! Great...
Read moreThe place is very clean and has great ambiance. It’s lil away from the main road which is really good for somebody like me who hates noise. They have decent wifi AND they take gcash payments which i prefer cus im not a fan of bringing cash all the time.
The staff are really accommodating and very friendly. They are very attentive on your needs. They even asked me how much sugar level I want for my mango shake which is so so rare for restaurants to do unless you order a milktea. They gave us separate plates without asking them since we plan to share the food that we ordered. They also asked us if we would like to serve the refreshments first or along with the whole order.
The food was great for reasonable price. The salad that we ordered was good. They put decent amount of bacon bits which is surprising cus most restaurants only put teeny tiny of it. Though they put quite a lot of dressing which I dont like. Id rather have it on the side. It was my mistake though cus I forgot to ask them since I was tired but that’s just my personal preference. The chicken burger was amazing. The chicken is seasoned well and its bigger than the bun which was surprising. The burger comes with fries and some garnish but not salad which was stated on the menu. We also ordered a pizza for takeout and it was good as well. Thin crust and crunchy which I like and it had good flavor to it too.
We totally enjoyed our time there and we would be happy to...
Read moreThis place is way to good for it's current location. If it was set back a little more away from the roads it would be perfect! They really worked hard on the design and the bamboo theme! Tables and chairs are all very nice, with each table having its own fan, for outdoor dining here that is a must! The restroom is very nice and has toilet paper, the flush was not working on our visit, but im sure they will fix that asap. Philippines restrooms in remote areas do not have always have restrooms, and rarely have toilet paper if needed.
The staff were super friendly and professional, only needed to ask for extra water and they gave us our own bottle of water, chilled! We had Nachos, and the flavor was great, but I forgot to ask for Salsa. Also had a Filipino breakfast and it was perfect! I had the coconut shrimp, it was okay but the batter was not what I expected, but no big deal. The portions were resort style, not as much food as we were hoping for the prices, but that's also normal on more high end restaurants like this one. We'd definitely go back if the portions were larger, over all it was...
