[ENG] Although the food was tasty, I and my colleagues were disappointed with the service quality.
They charge you extra 10% ("service fee") of your order if you come in group of 8 people and above, yet we needed to do everything on our own except serving the dishes: one of us found the suitable table, another one brought additional chair, a colleague brought the menus and finally - we needed to ask the staff to clean the table for us. Therefore we were leaving the place disappointed, because we were charged extra 10% of so-called "service fee" and yet all they did for us was to bring the dishes, and they have even confused one dish so for a moment we didn't know who is eating what.
Read moreI don't know what happened to this place. It used to be our go-to veggie restaurant, but since around this last summer something changed, maybe it's under new management or it's a new kitchen staff.
Harira used to be the best in town, rich in flavour, with big dates, a generous spoon of yogurt and a quarter of lime. It was served with a crunchy pita covered with earthy spices and coriander. Now it's as watery as it gets, with scarce pieces of carrots and one date to be shared between two portions of soup. No yogurt, no lime, much less pomegranate and lentils. The pita was replaced for a tortilla that you can get in the supermarket, rubbery and cold. A similar effect has happened with the wraps: they decreased in size and taste way more generic. The sauce used to be very unique, but in all the times we tried to order it since summer it tasted just like the average kebab sauce you can get out there. It's really a pity, because we loved to eat here and haven't found a good replacement yet, but as of now our favourite dishes have become very generic and it feels bad to pay for...
Read moreCosy, the space is divided by a large shelf-rack displaying various marinated goodies. I was there with a group of friends and we tasted soup, wraps, Falla plate and shakshouka and all those dishes were pretty good.
Menu is very easy to read and you know at once, which options are vegetarian and which vegan. Kudos for that!
Dishes are large, especially Falla plate and XXL wraps, so some of us had to ask staff to pack what we were not able to eat for takeout.
The selection of beers could be better. There were a couple of lagers, Weizen, fruit ale and sour and that's it. Would be cool to have a good IPA/APA, stout and a better tasting sour. Other than that everything's...
