FLOW CAFE — Restaurant in Gdynia

I’ve been coming to Flow Café for a long time and really appreciate what they’ve built — they were definitely pioneers in the area, and the quality of the food and coffee is consistently high. The menu is creative and well executed.

That said, I do feel the vibe can be a bit too “too cool for school” at times. There’s a slight sense of being watched — like, are you really eating? how long will you stay? It can make the experience feel a bit tense or less welcoming, especially for regulars.

Great food, easy accessable location right on the main street, very nearly my number 1 Croque Madame too! The grilled papryka was very nice but I thought the dish needed a small refreshing side salad to balance the quite awesome cheese and ham brioche delight. My wife had the Kimchi Hollandaise and she enjoyed that too. Nice too was the free water they give you, most restaurants would charge for this This is a 4.7 for me but only because the place is quite small and uncomfortable. Don't let this put you off though.. FLOW is the newish hippest kid on the block serving great coffee and yummy brunch (with a constantly changing menu). Right on the main drag, it is great for people-watching from the front row of tables, or hiding away in a quite corner inside. The décor is all clean lines and pale tones, and the folding glass doors across the whole frontage, which are entirely folded to the sides in good weather, make the place very inviting... FLOW has a strong local following, so if you're after Sunday brunch, be prepared to enjoy the company of your friends while you wait on the street...
