Pizzeria Orłowska (dawny zajazd „Adlershorst“) — Restaurant in Gdynia

The good thing is they have enough waitresses to get orders and things done quickly. We did not wait long. Sadly, as it must be quick, as they have lots of customers they do their pizzabottom in a press, with pre-prepared(?) pastry that gets then, once portioned, just pressed in flat forms thru a machine, instead to be prepared manually, unlike the italians / a pizza cook would do it.

Also the pizza, in the forms described above, gets then pre-prepared with tomato sauce and cheese by one helper, unless you ordered a cold topping, like the proscuito with parmigiano, stuffed with a lot of their main incredients, thrown into the electric oven and, voilà; thats it - not exactly what you'd expect if you go for pizza (if youre used to higher quality pizza), but you'll get an "okay" price-performance ratio.

Resume... the good: if you order a greek salad its not a small portion and its real mixed [green, cucumber, tomato, olive, onion] salad, as well as the bruscetta; The bad: the bruscetta is completely soaked in balsamico reduction and the greco salat gets a mustard(!) dressing, please put olive oil and vinegard on it, instead. I have a theory that pizza places are successful for two reasons, the first that they produce a good pizza, perhaps because of quality of ingredients or the chef. The other because they have a good location. Unfortunately this place falls under the latter, as with the popularity and occasionally difficulty in finding space, often is a good sign. W Pizzerii znaleźliśmy się całkowicie przypadkiem, ponieważ ruch w każdej z restauracji w pobliżu był przeogromny jak na czerwcowy weekend i na miejsce siedzące w innych restauracjach trzeba było czekać do około pół godziny, aczkolwiek po znalezieniu miejsca, dosłownie w przeciągu dziesięciu sekund otrzymaliśmy karty oraz talerze i sztućce, po dwóch minutach podszedł do nas Pan Kelner Kamil, sprzątnął stolik i przyjął od nas zamówienie, polecając nam pizzę Z Gruszką dla córki, która nie lubi pomidorów, Anchois dla mnie i pizzę Parmeńską dla mojej żony, następnie ku mojemu nie szczęściu po spytaniu o napoje, kelner poinformował nas od razu o braku alkoholu z powodu lokalizacji lokalu na terenie szkoły, po czym polecił nam pyszną lemoniadę, do której na prośbę córki dodał sok malinowy, na pizzę czekaliśmy co prawda około 45 minut, a na kremy 15, ale stosunkowo przy innych restauracjach to czas był po prostu ekspresowy, po skończeniu konsumpcji pysznej pizzy, spytaliśmy się o desery, Pan Kamil polecił nam Canolli pistacjowe, którego po chwili okazało się, że nie było na stanie, aczkolwiek jakimś cudem udało mu się je skombinować z innej restauracji??? Obsługa po prostu kapitalna, cały czas czuliśmy się wręcz jak u Babci na obiedzie, gdzie wszystkiego było pod dostatkiem, a opieka ze strony obsługi była po prostu nieziemska.
