Pod Wiązem — Restaurant in Gliwice

Chose Pod Wiazem as I was looking for a place for a family dinner with a good menu for all tastes. I especially love the Duck dishes I have had in Poland and wanted to what here had to offer. I was certainly not dissapointed and enjoyed one of the best Duck dishes I have ever had. The Duck was cooked to perfection with the skin and fat falling away to leave delicious meat and plenty of it. Stewed Pear and cabbage infused with blackcurrent to accompany the Duck which indeed complimented it perfectly. My Polish Family ordered 2 of the Family Platters which easily fed the five of them and had all the Polish Favourites like Perogi, Potato Dumplings Beef roulade, pork tenderloins, potatoes, steamed dumplings with roast sauce, potato pancakes, sauerkraut, mix salads. Desserts where fantastic and to compliment the food, the waiter was composed, pleasant and efficient. Keeping our drinks flowing, ensuring we could enjoy the food and the company. A proper Dining Experience and from start to finish you can really see that this restaurant is at the top of it's game and we will be right back on...

We had a wonderful dining experience at Pod Wiązem! From the warm ambiance to the beautifully presented dishes, everything was exceptional. The food was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Our favorites were the Silesian beef burger and the grilled goat cheese salad.

What truly made the evening special though, was our server Romek. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. Romek’s friendly personality and genuine hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcome.

Miałem zaszczyt i przyjemność Gościem być dwukrotnie!

Po raz pierwszy, w sobotę, w porze obiadowej, wraz z żoną i synem: obsługiwała nas Pani kelnerka – miła i uśmiechnięta. Dania były przepyszne, bardzo szybko podane. Zachwycił nas wystrój i atmosfera, dlatego tez postanowiliśmy zorganizować w „Pod Wiązem” urodziny. Po uzgodnieniu z menadżerem impreza doszła do skutku, i w tym miejscu czas na jeszcze większe laudacje!

Wszystko było tak jak sobie wymarzyliśmy, Świąteczna i rodzinna atmosfera, dekoracje, balony, jedzenie i obsługa. Pan Artur który nas obsługiwał to kelner przez duże K – na bieżąco konsultował poszczególne momenty imprezy, aby wszystko było na czas i Goście byli zadowoleni. Zupa zaserwowana przez kelnera każdemu z osobna –zasługuje na wyróżnienie!

Drugie dania: zróżnicowane, ale każde na najwyższym poziomie, zarówno mięsiwa jak i dodatki skrobiowe czy też warzywne. Tort nie dość że pięknie wyglądał, to smakował na równi z wyglądem, biszkopt pięknie „mokry” wraz z malinowym i klasycznym kremem – stworzyli mariaż smakowy godny piedestału! Kawa – niesamowicie aromatyczna, pięknie podana w nierdzewnym dzbanku, aż chciałoby się jej pić hektolitry.

Ostatnim elementem tej gastronomicznej układanki była zimna płyta która również była topowa: deska serów, świeże wędliny, sałatki, tatar oraz ciepłe przekąski. Po zakończaniu imprezy wszystko popakowane próżniowo i zapakowane w torby – ready to go!

Dziękujemy z całego serca za możliwość celebracji urodzin naszego syna Dawida u Państwa, chabeau bas, gdyż wszystko zagrało jak Rafał Blechacz w konkursie Chopinowskim, czyli wspaniale!
