Pergola — Restaurant in Kołobrzeg

Waitress Agnieszka (im pretty sure) who was on her second day, was the bubbliest, nicest and most welcoming fun employee I had serve me in likely years. She made sure we didn’t leave without our free shots and 2 LITERAL handfuls of sweets. She didn’t even want a tip which we felt bad for and I’m Polish so I am aware tipping isn’t the norm. The remaining staff was equally pleasant and informed us of nearby parties and festivals off their own accord! The atmosphere was great, clean environment with a terrace view out on the gorgeous Baltic Sea. The food was really lovely too and my best friend is highly lactose intolerant yet the kitchen had no issue adjusting her bruschetta to her needs as well as making me pancakes which I unknowingly ordered after breakfast menus allowed. to;dr – good food, horrible service, bad kids menu choice

We went there with two families – two adults and two kids both. The ordered food and drinks took very long, they never asked if we need more to drink or anything else. If one kid asked for more it was heard, but the other kids got ignored. Once she reacted with a very unfriendly “yes, yes”. No one from the staff walking by ever smiled. (bad management?)

The food for adults was good, “touristicly” priced.

The kids menu on the other hand was poor: why is it always f**cking chicken nuggets and fries + plus something else. In that case fish and half-cooked and bad tasting rice. So my daughter left hungry and my son took an adult meal and ate half of it.

We came here for some light food and drinks. The food was good but the service was awful, as we were trying to order more drinks and desserts for an hour. The restaurant was very quiet at that time and we saw waiters just walking around and talking to each other but it was impossible to get their attention. We eventually managed to order more drinks from one waitress and after some time from another one, but they never arrived so we decided to pay and leave.
