China Palace — Restaurant in Krakow

Chiński Pałac : Najlepsze chińskie jedzenie w Krakowie I have an immense love for Indo-Chinese food. Ever since I moved to Poland, I found that the oriental kitchens usually server Thai & Vietnamese food and very rarely have some Chinese preparations on their menu, but to my disappointment they are not to my taste. In my quest of the best Chinese food in Krakow, I finally discovered this restaurant in Józefa Mackiewicza 14B, 31-214 Kraków serving delicious Chinese food. Things I ordered: Spicy Sour Soup: Soup made of chicken broth, vegetables, shiitake mushrooms and shredded chicken, in a soy sauce base taste. This was one of the best soup I have tasted in Poland. Might be a bit salty to the taste of the Poles, but was good for me. Fried Noodles with Chicken: Perfect to my taste. Noodles stir-fried with vegetables, chicken and soy sauce. Perfect to my taste. Spicy Sichuan Chicken: Chunks of chicken, vegetables and shiitake mushrooms in spicy Sichuan sauce sizzling on a hot plate. My mouth still waters when I see its picture. Spring rolls with vegetables: Crispy dip fried rolls stuffed with vegetables. I have had spring rolls in other Oriental Restaurants, but the stuffing is usually very minimum.

The environment was serene and decorated in Chinese style. Food was very tasty and service was very fast.

I highly recommend you to visit this restaurant. I am definitely going back to Chiński Pałac to try -- Jing Jiang Chicken Fried lamb with Onion Sichuan Tiger Prawns Xinjiang Chicken

Zacznę od tego, że nie oceniam cen - miałem voucher, więc wybrałem się z żoną po uprzedniej rezerwacji. Jako, że voucher niestety jak się okazało mieliśmy do wyboru zupy won ton, albo słodko-kwaśną, danie to wybór między łagodnym, a pikantnym, deser - bez wyboru; słabo. Same zupy dobre, ale bez szału 3.5/5. Danie główne - no było dobre, jarzyny chrupkie, wspaniałe, mięso również niczego sobie (mix trzech różnych), ale porcja (na zdjęciu) dla dwóch osób to dosłownie kilka kawałków na gorącym półmisku (w innych restauracjach więcej jest w jednej porcji); nic - nadrobiło smakiem. Deser bardzo wymyślny i choć nie lubię deserów to tego skubałem. Pewnie kiedyś wrócę by spróbować czegoś z karty, bo voucher lepiej wymienić na coś innego. Za bark możliwości wyboru dań (wegetarianie nie mają czego szukać z voucherem) odejmuję gwiazdkę. Drugą odjął bym za brak stolika przy oknie. Były, ale niestety usłyszeliśmy, że tam nie można, bo rezerwacja. Nasz też był rezerwacja, ale dwa krzesła tam 4. Pomyślałem - no jasne, przyjdą większe rodziny. Jednak gdy wychodziliśmy zajęte były 2 z 3 przy oknie przez dwuosobowe team'y. Jeden stał wciąż pusty. Słabo. Dlaczego więc 4 gwiazdki? Nadrobiły panie z obsługi. Byłem w różnych restauracjach i choć ten 'pałac' koło pałacu nawet nie stał tak dziewczyny jak z dobrej restauracji. Grzeczne, miłe, uśmiechnięte, pomocne. Wiedzą o daniach, nie tylko podają, dbają cały czas o stolik, pytają, czy smakowało. Rewelacja. Ogólna ocena 4/5. Kiedyś przyjdę bez vouchera, zjem i ewentualnie zmienimy ocenę. Powinienem odjąć gwiazdkę za lane piwo - przy mnie kilka osób pytało, wraz ze mną, a tego nie było - tylko butelka. Za takie nieprzygotowanie, w sobotę, gdy coś mianuje się 'pałacem' to nie powinno się zdarzyć. Nie odejmuję, bo na szczęście było piwo w butelce. Kolejny raz już...

I've tried hotpot several times in different places, but this one is on another level. It's delicious! The clear broth might be a bit low on salt, but that's an easy fix. We could tell that the foods made from scratch. The lady who served us was so nice and lovely. When I asked her some questions, she enthusiastically explained everything. Top-notch service! The atmosphere was private, calm, and felt authentically Chinese. For me, both the food and service were well worth the price. As Asian foodies, my boyfriend and I would definitely recommend...
