Ogród Smaków — Restaurant in Oświęcim

After all the positive reviews we decided to have dinner at this restaurant. The restaurant itself looks great. We ordered some drinks and food. The drinks came fast but after an hour we still didn't got our starter, which was some bread. We asked the waitress and she informed us that it will come soon. Half an hour later, still no bread. The staff didn't came to our table so I walked to the bar and asked about our starter. After that they informed us it will come within 5 minutes. Luckily it came and I immediately asked to serve the main course asap. The food was ok, nothing special. During and after the main course the staff didn't ask how the food was and also didn't asked us if we would like some desert after. I had to walk to the bar for the second time, because staff didn't check on us at all. But then we couldn't order dessert because the kitchen was closed... I informed them about my opinion of the service and asked for the bill right away. Waitress apologised and told there were some issues in the kitchen and gave us 20% discount on the bill, which sounds fair but we don't care about the bill. After that she was gone immediately without wishing us a great evening or whatever. Very disappointed with the service in this restaurant and I wouldn't recommend...

Doświadczenie w restauracji było niezwykle rozczarowujące. Przyszliśmy ze znajomymi wczoraj pod wieczór i zajęliśmy stolik siedmioosobowy na tarasie. Złożyliśmy zamówienie, po czym czas oczekiwania na SAME NAPOJE wynosił od 30 do 40 minut! W restauracji w tym czasie nie było dużego obłożenia (może 3-4 inne mniejsze stoliki oprócz nas). W obsłudze dwie panie kelnerki i jedna barmanka, wszystkie kompletnie przytłoczone pracą. Jak się okazało, jedna z nich pracowała tam dopiero pierwszy dzień i została od razu oddelegowana, aby obsłużyć nasz duży stolik. Niedopuszczalne! Mogę śmiało stwierdzić, że manager w ogóle nie ma zielonego pojęcia o zarządzaniu personelem i sam sobie rzuca kłody pod nogi, na przykład wychodząc z pracy o godzinie 15:00 i zostawiając restaurację bez kierownika. Na zmianie powinien być obecny przynajmniej jeden starszy kelner, który byłby odpowiedzialny za całą obsługę. Jesteśmy z branży, przez co zrobiło się nam zwyczajnie żal pań kelnerek i po 30 minutach oczekiwania na napoje sami poszliśmy do baru i przynieśliśmy je sobie na tacy do stolika. Manager restauracji powinien podjąć kroki, aby uniknąć takich sytuacji w przyszłości, bo koncertowo marnuje to miejsce. Widać, że pieniędzy nie jest żal na kwiatowe dekoracje drinków, ale cięcie kosztów w jakości obsługi można dostrzec gołym okiem. Jeśli chodzi o samą kuchnię, dania nie były zaskakujące. Były w porządku, choć dostaliśmy je nie w takiej temperaturze jak należy, wygląda na to, że stały zbyt...

We came in as a drop in table on Sunday evening. They found space for us even tho it was a busy day with many reservation. We order some seasonal drinks and salads.
