5 stars – A fantastic culinary experience in Szczecin!
Browar Stara Komenda is without a doubt one of the best dining experiences we've had in Poland. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed in this cozy, character-filled brewery with its rustic charm, green benches, and charming garden terrace.
We started our evening with delicious appetizers that set the tone right away – fresh, well-presented, and made with care. The main courses were simply incredible: large portions, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. From juicy steaks with creamy sauce to crispy schnitzels, golden fries, fresh salads, corn, and warm vegetable sides – every dish was a delight.
To go along with the food, we enjoyed several of their house-brewed beers, and what a treat they were! The IPA was refreshing and hoppy, the wheat beer light and fruity, and the dark beer deep and rich with notes of caramel and malt. True craft beer quality – brewed right on-site.
And then came the desserts – a perfect finish. Light, creamy cakes, fresh whipped cream, and scoops of ice cream had both the kids and adults at the table smiling with every bite.
What made the whole experience even better were the very reasonable prices. We felt completely comfortable ordering multiple courses and drinks, knowing everything was affordable and fairly priced – something you don’t experience everywhere these days.
The staff was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed and authentic, with locals, families, and couples all enjoying themselves.
In summary:
Fantastic appetizers, mains, and desserts
Delicious craft beer
Big portions and great value for money
Warm, cozy atmosphere
Friendly and efficient service
A local favorite – and now one of ours too!

Read moreDelicious beer and tasty food! I brought here my husband who is not polish and was happy we could enjoy some nice polish food accompanied by an amazing coffee brown ale. The neck steak was well done and had a tasty filling with pickled cucumbers and mustard that gave extra flavor to the meat. My piecuchy (backed dumplings) with meat and buckwheat were very tasty and served with nice chilli sauce. The atmosphere of the place is very nice for a dinner with your partner or friends. Definitely recommend the place...
Read moreI Don’t recommend this place. It kind of looks cool and is presented in a unique setting, however the food is very bad and the service is beyond terrible. The waiters were completely disengaged and rude. When I told the waiter that he may need to let the kitchen know that they possibly have a broken ice cream box as i have had a piece of hard plastic stab my mouth while eating it, he did not care at all. The menu is also...
