"Quantity over qualtity" should be their motto. We tried four meals in this restaurant, only one of them was average in taste, the rest was a garbage.
Their hungarian goulash us just an universial brown sauce with some meat. Miles away from a good goulash. Good thing was a portion of beetroot and cabbage on the side.
The pirogi were soaked in oil and the stuffing doesn't smell any good.
The pancakes with spinach and goat chese was the worst - frozen spinach instead of a fresh one. Cheese without a taste.
The only avg+ meal was soup in a bread. This one was more or less good (bit oversalted but in general okay).
We wanted to order another beer during eating, no chance to place the order...
For the payment itself I had to go to the cashier at the bar, otherwise we'll still sit there waiting for someone to notice us.
A small plus was that the waitress was willing to speak english, which is rare in...
Read moreEven If am Czech, I’ll write down this review in English, so anyone could tranlate it…Food - no mistake, very good taste, delicious cheese and my boyfriend’s soup served in very soft bread was perfect for the autumn/winter lunch. But I am afraid that the problem here is a service - Waiting time for another beer was approximately 50 minutes and people in the service were way too arogant, so even If you want to get drunk, you definitely won’t, otherwise the environment is very peaceful and the place looks so “like in the mountains”. I was looking forward to spending time in Poland, but these experience in restaurants made me so uncomfortable, so we decide carefully to go back again. And for the addition, we are not the ones who came here just to buy grocery for less money than in our home country as anyone could think…Please let me know If my view on the “serving of beer in Poland” is...
Read moreAbsolutely loved the pork ribs from this restaurant. The portion size was very generous and very reasonably priced. The presentation, quality and service were spot on. My partner had the pierogi dish which she also loved very much!
This was my first dish visiting the Polish mountains and we randomly decided to try this place. We were not disappointed about anything restaurant had to offer. The staff were also great and very friendly.
If you’re a natural born carnivore like myself then I highly recommend you try the ribs from here. My mouth is watering just thinking about them again.
We left with smiles and happy memories. Thank you to all the staff at Michałowa Gospoda! one day I shall return for what I’m sure will be another...
