I do not recommend! I will try to explain my critique in a few sentences. I was born and live in the Unites States. However, my grandmother is a lonely older woman living in Tarnow by herself ever since my grandfathers passing(she refuses to relocate). My father and I decided to order her a nice meal for mother's day. We decided on Sopranos, as it seemed to be the best restaurant in all of Tarnow. We placed the order and it turns out that it was never delivered to her. I called to understand the reason for the 5+ hour delay, the person that answered the phone explained to me that they did not have 2 of the few dishes I ordered and that she tried calling me in regards to this issue and when she was unable to get ahold of me she cancelled my order. What she said was a lie as I did not recieve any phone calls, nor a notification for a cancelation of my order. I also reminded her that when placing the order it also requests to leave your email for contact purposes; which I had done, her response to this was to let me know that they do not contact and inform customers via email. At the end of this back and forth I asked her for her name; she quickly let me know they do not disclose this kind of information and hung up on me. The most interesting thing in all of this is that they charged my credit card and never returned the funds. This is called theft, which is a crime. I believe that an establishment pretending to be one of the best in a city with a population of 120 thousand should be more professional than this. I am going to post this review on every platform that can review this business. The worst part in all of this was that it was far too late to order my grandmother anything from a different restaurant. I wonder how they would feel if their own mothers and grandmother's were treated...
Read moreI really enjoyed tonight's meal here as part of a business event. We were a table of 10 and the staff were very helpful and provided great food and service. I personally had the 'Tony Soprano' 32cm pizza, pictured, which was every bit as tasty and satisfying as it looks. It went very well with a large Zywiec beer. All other dishes served to our table were very well received also.
The atmosphere was very pleasant, very spacious and you don't feel like you are impeding others. There was a lovely ambience in the form of classical piano tracks and the lighting upstairs where we were very felt very special and intimate.
One of the most impressive elements to the occasion was when we were individually paying (as required for company expense allowances) I didn't even have to remind the staff of what I had. As soon as I started to explain they already knew and had confirmed it before I could. This is exactly the kind of outstanding attention to detail often lacking in the dining industry and only further emphasised my desire to leave the restaurant a well-deserved positive review.
I would highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for the kind of place...
Read moreSoprano can be easily considered a high-end Italian restaurant in a not so Italian town, Tarnow. The interior decor, the summer patio, and the food are all amazing. Last year, we hosted a birthday party at Soprano, and the service and the food were all exceptional. This year, we stopped there for dinner on a Monday night. We were hoping to dine in a restaurant that would surprise us with modern, freshly prepared, and delicious food. And I have to admit, Soprano rose to the occasion and exceeded our expectations! Their mussels are the best we have ever tried! The halibut with parsnip puree - delicious! The kids loved their freshly baked pizza and crepes with sweet cheese. They were both amazing! If I could give a restaurant 6 stars, Soprano would...
