NOVA SUSHI — Restaurant in Toruń

Absolutely amazing sushi place. If you're unsure what sushi place to pick, pick this one, you won't regret it one bit. It wins in terms of every single aspect, and you need just one bus ride to get there :)

My girlfriend and I came here not knowing what to expect, but we had ordered from them once before and we knew the food quality was great.

I was surprised with how beautiful and cosy the place feels! I loved it down to the last detail. Especially now, at advent time, with christmas lighting and decorations everywhere.

We reserved a table and ordered ahead (50 for 75zł set), so the food was ready by the time we arrived and the table was set. As you can see in the pictures, it looked very, very nice, with a soy sauce saucer and a resting piece for chopsticks.

We were amazed by how beautifully the platter with sushi looked like and honestly, the flavour matched the appearance. It was delicious. We had soy sauce prepared, a generous amount of wasabi and pickled ginger. The waitress offered us two types of tea, and we chose cherry tea (18zł), which there was enough of for 6 cups (3 for me and 3 for her). The tea was wonderful and light, I loved it.

Lastly, we took ice cream mochi (19zł), which was the first time for us trying it. They came on sticks with fruit and were sweet, lovely and delicious. I loved everything about it.

I hope the photos can match how amazing our experience was. I recommend this sushi place absolutely - in terms of price, ambiance and taste. It's true that it's a bit far from the centre, but one bus ride will get you there, and there's a bus stop right outside on the other side...

Had the "50 za 50" set that they have available Monday to Thursday and it tasted very good, everything was also nicely platted.

And there was enough ginger, soy sauce and "Wasabi" for the whole thing.

Location is a little weird out in the middle of an residential area, but still the local is nicely decorated and parking is available right outside.

Only thing that could be an improvement is to be able to order online, but since locations in other cities have that it's just a question of when they...

Powinna być możliwość wystawiania minusowej liczby gwiazdek w przypadku tej restauracji. 29 lipca razem ze znajomymi chcieliśmy zamówić sushi na wynos. Zadzwoniliśmy chwilkę po 21 i usłyszeliśmy od Pani tam pracującej, że już nie można składać zamówień na wynos, ponieważ mają ich za dużo i kierowca nie da rady ich rozwieźć, zatem wychodzimy z inicjatywą, iż nie ma problemu, bo możemy osobiście odebrać, na co Pani stwierdziła, że też odpada bo właściwie najlepiej to składać zamówienia dzień wcześniej. DZIEŃ WCZEŚNIEJ ZAMAWIAĆ KOLACJE? SERIO? Trochę zbulwersowana po kilkunastu minutach stwierdziliśmy, że zadzwonimy ponownie. Tym razem była 21:28 i usłyszałam od Pani, że niestety ale zamówienia można składać do 21:30 no i ok, rozumiem że dwie minuty przed więc nie przyjmują, ale przecież dzwoniliśmy z 15 minut wcześniej i też nie dało się złożyć zamówienia. Oczywiście zreferowałam Pani sytuację z przed kilkunastu minut i zapytałam jak to jest w końcu, że skoro teraz mi mówi że zamówienia przyjmują do 21:30 to dlaczego 15 minut temu już nie chciała przyjąć zamówienia? Nie potrafiła się wytłumaczyć, zaczęła się jąkać i być nieuprzejma, coś mamrotała do siebie bo nawet nie do mnie. PORAŻKA. zastanawiam się czy właściciel tej restauracji ustala takie zasady i jest pokręcony, czy pracownicy robią co chcą bo nie chce im się siedzieć w pracy dlatego sami decydują czy przyjmą zamówienie czy nie. Bardzo nie polecam, jak dla mnie to jakieś kpiny i bezczelność, a Pani z którą miałam wątpliwą przyjemność rozmawiać ewidentnie pracuje tam za karę....
