They say it take years to build the loyalty of a client and a second to loose one. The low mark in no way is in regard to the food quality for which I have been a devoted fan for the past 8 or 9 years. This post is about the low quality of service that I have had the chance to witness today. Due to the covid situation I order two let me stress the huge amount of two pizzas for take away. The first point of contact on the phone was as always very pleasant, i was informed that the pizza will be ready to pick up in 10 to 15 min. I showed at the restaurant after 20 min to be informed that the order was still not ready but they said I have to wait a few min. After 10 min I kindly entered the restaurant again in order to hear this time that the pizza is already in the oven and they need a few more min. So i kindly waited an additional 10 min. Upon my 4 attempt to inquire where my huge order is I heard only the question what is it that I ordered 😂 I replied a diavola and margarita and their reply was that it's not ready. After 55 min of waiting for two pizzas, of which 35 min in the restaurant I didn't even once hear a simple sorry we have a large number of orders and apology for the inconvenience. Read moreWe went to A Mode Mio with my partner and placed order for two pizzas and beer. I also wanted a glass of tap water. I heard from the waitress, that it's not possible, and they only serve bottled water. I insisted on getting just a glass of regular tap water. The waitress called a manager. Manager told me that "the water they use in the resteurant is not potable",and "they don't have permission from sanitary services to serve tap water". Well, this is not even true - according to sanitary services, water used in restaurants needs to always be potable. There is no legal/sanitary reason to refuse to serve such water. I told to manager, that most Warsaw's restaurants serve tap water, but he told me: "You speak about most Warsaw's restaurants, but we are not "most restaurants", we have our own standards", blah blah blah. Edit - Written on 7 of October 2022 - Considering the increase of prices which is a thing happening everywhere, the food quality is still really, really good! But I needed to take down one star from the rating as the service was really disappointing. Firstly, we weren't even asked where we would like to take a seat as there were plenty. Waiter took us to the darkest area so we decided to switch by ourselves to a brighter spot. Secondly, waiter and waitress were very cold to us not even asking how the food was or if everything was ok, or even offered a dessert. Thirdly, the floor manager even looked at us when we left and basically muttered a really weak "goodbye".
This is definitely not the A Modo Mio we were used to. And trust me, we went there...
