I came with high expectations to this restaurant to eat Biryani Mutton, despite the fact that their menu states that they have it, they told me that there is only chicken version, so I refrained from ordering it. I ended up ordering Bhuna keema, and in the menu they state that it is minced meat with onion, tomato and aromatic spices, with no mention of green peas addition, and I was presented with green peas inside the Bhuna keema, with no sense of any aromatic spices, and the tomato and onion god knows only where they are. The waiter (male) didn't bring a plate along the food (This was offensive btw), have no idea if that was his first day working in restaurants in general. The butter Naan was dry as hell, and I barely could see any butter applied to it, and it was burnt in addition to that. All in all, taking into consideration the prices they charge, it is absolute disaster, just like the Azerbaijani restaurant that was opened on the same spot. I hope the management will take my constructive feedback and try to improve the service in...
Read moreThis restaurant opened recently, and I’m writing this review because I respect the owners, but I want to be honest. The food here is slightly above average compared to other places I’ve eaten, but I believe it can be much better; especially given the premium prices they charge.
We ordered Mali Boti, which was good. The Mutton Karahi, however, had onion pieces, which I’ve never seen in any Karahi I’ve had before, and it felt out of place.
The biggest disappointment was the biryani. The portion we were served was clearly stale, and the meat tasted old. We pointed this out to the waitress and ordered a new portion, which was fine, but the first impression was already ruined, especially since we left half of the first portion untouched.
The naan and tea were good, though. I’d consider coming back, but probably after a few months, hoping things have...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of visiting Hunza Fort last evening. The food, service, ambiance were all on point. It was a breath of fresh air to experience mouth watering authentic South Asian cuisine in Warsaw. And what amazing food! The flavorful karahi and chapli kebabs with heavenly, hot naans right out of the tandoor, dipped in mint raita and washed down with the chilled, zesty strawberry lemonade— all were to die for! The biryani's spice level was just right: not overly pungent , nor bland. The fragrant basmati rice, cooked in Karachi style was absolutely delicious! I would recommend Hunza Fort to anyone looking for a real taste of Pakistani and Uzbeki cuisine. Oh, and don't forget to try their 'karak chai' in the end. Doubtless to say, I will be visiting them soon! PS: Hunza Fort also boasts separate rooms for patrons to enjoy ...
