This place is a hidden gem. The fish is carefully sourced and lovingly prepared, full of flavour and richness. It is not your typical, depressing modern outlet where cold sushi is served after being made who-knows-where and washed down with syrupy Polish lager. The service is attentive and helpful, there is a wide selection of sets (no bento boxes, sadly) and the prices are reasonable. Chef is a veteran of the Warsaw sushi scene, having cut his teeth in the first Japanese-staffed restaurants of the late 90s. Our tempura was made in around ten minutes and was a crisp, flavoursome delight, with king prawns that must be at least five inches. Heaps of innovative touches like pressed fruit juices with mint or mango sauce for tempura. And the sushi... I'd honestly forgotten how colourful and varied a dinner can be made using fish and rice. The quality of the fish means that the sashimi is basically compulsory. We're only in Warsaw once a year but this place will be a fixture...
