Most disappointing food we ate in Albufeira :( Was recommended this place by our boat tour guide who told us we would get 10% off the food. When we approached the restaurant the lady on the door was really friendly and lovely and told us again we would get discount from having been on the boat ride and told us the food is all fresh and caught locally. The fish is not caught locally and is frozen when asked after eating. Additionally the food was really expensive for the quality of what we received. There was back and forth confusion when ordering allergen free food and the waiter was insisting that I order something different that was marked as containing my allergen on the menu. If I hadn’t escalated to another member of staff I would’ve order food that gave me a reaction. I felt like waiters should know how to understand the menu to avoid confusion. Food was okay. Not bad not good not fresh. Not worth the price :( When the cheque came they said they WOULD NOT honour the discount of 10% (the entire reason we came) despite having photo of tickets and photo of us on the boat. Really disappointing and really expensive. Wouldn’t have even gone if we knew we weren’t getting the discount. We’ve got really great fresh food (locally caught fish) for half the price elsewhere in Albufeira without any of the hassle. Really wish I’d insisted on money back. The atmosphere is lovely though. I don’t normally leave bad reviews but felt pretty cheated by the end of the meal. UPDATE: the food from here made me super super unwell and I got the runs and given this was the only place I ate from I pretty much guarantee it was the food here :( please avoid...
Read moreGreat ambiance both inside and outside. The staff at this restaurant were exceptional—friendly, professional, and multilingual, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The meat and burgers (e os espargos) were outstanding, easily the highlight of the meal. I also loved the desserts, especially the brownie and panna cotta, which were almost as impressive as the main course. The drinks, particularly the juices and lemonade, have great potential and could be perfected with a few tweaks. I would definitely return, not just for the delicious food but also for the warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the staff, especially the lady who spoke Spanish, Portuguese, and English. It was reassuring to see that the team is local, which is often a good indicator of the quality and authenticity of the food and service. Keep up...
Read moreReview for Lemon Drops in Algarve Marina
Lemon Drops at the Algarve Marina is one of the best places we've had dinner. We started with the tuna tataki, which was absolutely delicious. The burgers, clearly made from fresh ingredients, were a standout, right down to the homemade buns. The juices were refreshing, and the lemonade struck the perfect balance—not too sweet but one of the best lemonades we've ever had. The coffee was fantastic, and I personally loved the tapas. The location is amazing, with a beautiful view of the marina, adding to the overall dining experience. The restaurant owner was incredibly welcoming, and the service has been consistently five-star. Highly...
