Entrecote was extremely fatty, chewy to the point of being inedible. I wasn’t massively hungry and everyone else enjoyed their food, so I didn’t send it back, but the waiter noticed that I hadn’t eaten a lot of it when he cleared the plates, so he asked me if everything was okay. I said that to be honest it was very fatty, and he proceeded to lecture me about how I should have ordered a leaner cut. Another person on the table ordered the entrecôte and it was not as fatty as mine, so I don’t think the cut was the issue. I didn’t proactively complain, I was simply asked for feedback so I gave it. Very unprofessional response (no “thank you for the feedback”, “can I get you anything else to eat instead …”).

Limoncello cheesecake was bad, all who ordered agreed. Bizarre presentation (no biscuit base so more of a mousse than a cheesecake, and wrapped in paper??) and no taste of limoncello (there was lemon curd in it and the lemon flavour was strong, but absolutely no alcohol). Sometimes it’s best to keep things simple. The other desserts and the drinks were good.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Worst restaurant and service I’ve ever experienced in my life! No waiter assigned to a table. Then after 20 minutes we get menus and had to call over a waiter to take our order but then she says “I only take drink orders” which is an absolute embarrassment! The waiter who takes “food orders” then labours his way over and takes our order. I had to ask for water 3 times of 3 different waiters and it came out 30 minutes later. Then we ask for dessert menus and it takes 20 minutes for dear menus. To add insult injury we get the bill and then no one comes with a card machine for 20 minutes and we had to go in and pay for this clownshow. Worst resteraunt experience in my entire life and I don’t say that lightly!! Food was also a rip off and was very poor!! I cannot sum up how bad this place was! Unfortunately we did not have a great experience this time around, my parents had visited during the week and enjoyed themselves so we came as a group.

The setting is very good and well decorated. However the service was not up to par. The main male host took our drinks starters and mains all at once. The sangrias we ordered took over an hour and a half to come, just before our mains. The food and steaks while very tasty were all cold. The mains were very flavourful but the steak mash and sides etc. were too cold and some had to be sent back.

We unfortunately felt ignored the entire time but when we addressed our concerns staff were helpful.

Despite this I would most definitely like to return again and hopefully have a different experience. The setting is great and very unexpected as we have drove past here in previous years and not realised what was there. They also host an American bbq on Sundays and have good early...
