Pizza Hut Algarve Shopping — Restaurant in Albufeira

Long line for ordering with two members of staff taking orders. After standing in one queue for about 10 min, the other worker who seemed to be the manager (judging by his clothes) got vacant and so we started placing our takeaway order with him. Then he said we couldn't pay by card and had to go back to the original line. 30 seconds later we saw that same man take a card payment from the pretty lady who stood in the line behind us.

After waiting in the first line again, placing the order and paying, we confronted the man about the situation. He looked surprised for having been caught and stuttered "you can pay by card now". No apology, no explanation.

We ordered four pizzas and the other worker told us upon pickup that they upgraded the size of one of them from small to large as an apology. I'd much rather find out what it all was about.

We did get seated by a friendly little guy. But our table service(from a tall boy) was very poor. We did feel like he didn't like to be at work. The tall guy didn't smile at all and didn't repeated the order. Because we ordered 5 time a calzone but we just received just 1. After we did eat he apologized and ask us if we would like to drink some coffee or ice cream for his mistake. A lady came to our table to tell us there was no ice cream anymore in poor English. So we ordered profiteroles who were highly overpriced in my opinion. But when I ask for the receipt they were expecting I would pay for the dessert. So I said what the tall boy told to me and she said in a unkind way that she would give it for free. Because of the service I wouldn't go to this...

I expected good pizza, friendly service and nice atmosphere like I all Pizza Hut restaurant. Unfortunately it wasn’t like that. This restaurant is in shopping center so it’s quit loud. The waiter was really unfriendly and angry (or something like that). I was even scared to asked about anything. I ordered small pizza on traditional pizza base however we get pizza on pun base. 🙈🙈 We had to wait more then 1 hour and the worst thing is that there weren’t so many people so I don’t understand it!!!!!!! I give 2 stars because pizza was tasty but I don’t recommend it at all it was...
