Cannot say enough good things about this place. Found it on our 2nd last day in Portugal and disappointed that we didn't find it earlier. Child, vegetarian and carnivore all left here very satisfied. The restaurant is lovely inside, laid out well enough that parties big and small can dine without getting too close. The staff are fantastic, all are very helpful, friendly and go out of their way with everyone. The menu is varied and caters for all tastes. And as if that wasn't enough, The three of us ate 3 courses with drinks, for under €80. If I am ever within an hours drive of this fantastic restaurant again, I'll go out of my way to go here. First time in, my brother Jorge has been in many times. We didn’t have a reservation and at first they said no, they were very busy, then my brothers wife spoke with someone and we were told they needed the table in 1.5 hours, great . Well from the time we sat I knew this was a special place, they didn’t disappoint, I had a couple of nice dinners in my stay in Algarve, but… well from the apps to the main courses, I had the magret of duck with orange sauce, delicious, then I finished with hot poached figs in medronho with vanilla ice cream, amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant. Our party of 12 went to celebrate our friends 40th. On arrival they provided the group with a variety of starters, the baked goat's cheese and honey was to die for. The fish soup starter was rich, flavoursome and fresh. I ordered the seabass main with suate potatoes, veg and mango sauce. I actually took it away because I had indulged on the starters a little too much! However, the main was soooooo good this morning for breakfast. The staff were lovely, a very tight family-run outfit.
