A very LOW class establishment. They have a reputation locally of disturbing the peace (even causing "a scene" by cursing locals even at 2 AM), insulting customers, hollering obscenities at passerbys. Even some of their British regular patrons lower themselves on their behalf to accost, in a public restaurant, others who will not patronize them any longer. And, of course, the owners make little attempt, by all appearances, to truly learn the language. This displays a certain disrespect for the Portugese people, in my opinion. I popped in to take my 8 year old to the toilet as he was absolutely busting and got a torrent of verbal abuse from her and the locals as we walked out because we hadn't purchased anything, I completely understand that it's a business and they don't want people exploiting using their facilities but it was an unnecessary reaction.
