Microbar — Restaurant in Aljezur

Staff ask to wear a mask just for one step into the inside open patio. Fair enough. I made ONE single step to get to the table and remove it.... to see what ? That NO ONE in the kitchen wear a mask !!! A joke. Lucky them we were tired but else I would’ve left... which we should have done given what we ate.

For food we had burgers. I would not recommend the French one and it shouldn’t even be called a burger. Surely some good things can come out this kitchen. We have not really experienced it. Ingredients were not bad at all.

Homemade limonade was good though.

But guys, wear a mask !! Especially if you enforce it up to a point it can be ridiculous. Like what happened to us. And as we leave we see the cook (not wearing a mask) leaving the kitchen to walk through the entire open inside patio to have a cigarette outside... Magic ! Meanwhile we also witness a customer leaving a table in the middle of the space with no mask... to come back with a mask ... to leave with a mask ... we live a very strange period of time...

So if you come best to stay outside.... or try a restaurant a little...

oh my god, me and my girlfriend stopped 2 months ago, my hamburger was just plenty of stuff but with no sense, making a sandwich or hamburger is not just putting whatever you have, such a mix of don't know what, apart this it could happens you don't like food but the worst was service , the waitress saw us not appreciate food because we didn't eat and when we asked for the bill she even didn't ask what in every place ask you , is all ok guys?? she didn't ask anything unbelievable..i shouldn't have paid was even expensive..last thing , we are in Portugal plenty of tourists but still in Portugal, noone in the restaurant was able to talk a minimum of portuguese...such a pity we leave our place and business to person they are from abroad but not care and appreciate the oportunity they...

I arrived in Carrapateira backpacking on the Fisherman's Trail and I found in the village only two restaurants. I chose this Microbar because it was the closest one and I got It right, because I had a good experience here. The place is small (as the name suggests) but it has a surprisingly big choice of dishes. Not only burgers and salads, but also some unconventional choices, like chicken curry or naan bread. Both the Pork Ribs I had for lunch and the Chicken curry I had for dinner weee good. Prices are ok and service is fast and friendly. My only (little) complain is only about the lack of...
