Probably the best cheap eat in Aveiro! The lunch menu for 6.5 euros is definitely hard to beat. It includes a soup, bread, meal, dessert and a coffee. With 40 years of experience the owner cook home made portugese food. Don't expect anything fancy but it's definitely worth a visit.

Diária 7,5€ com tudo incluído! Sopa, pão, prato à escola, bebida, sobremesa e café! A sopa vinha bem quente e saborosa! Cesta de pão com tostas também. Pedi bifes com batata frita e arroz, vinha tudo muito saboroso com salada a acompanhar! Bifes tenros e batatas no ponto! O fino era bem grande, o equivalente a uma caneca, excepcional!! Quanto à sobremesa aquela hora já só havia gelatina e fruta, pedi uma laranja que me foi trazida cortada em pedaços com uma apresentação muito boa! Um bom local para um almoço rápido e saboroso.

This is a local eatery filled with people from the community who have been coming here for years. The food is good, generous portions, local products and served with plenty of help for a tourist like me. Not many tourists visit this place because it doesn't have the flash or decor of a modern place and if that is what you are looking for, then stay to the center of town. However, if you want to know what the locals eat then this is the place - the food is tasty, the prices are good and the people are helpful. We had a main plate of bacalhau (cod fish), with chips, salad, dessert and coffee for about 6 euro each and it was a very filling meal. Obrigado to Monica...
