My recent birthday celebration at Churrasqueira Sal na Brasa was an absolute success, largely thanks to their excellent service and delicious food. I booked in advance for a large group, and upon arrival, our table was perfectly prepared, and the staff even offered to store our birthday cake until later – a thoughtful touch that set a positive tone for the evening. We started with some appetizers before diving into the main courses. My girlfriend and I shared two dishes: the Picanha (top sirloin cap) and Bifes de Peru (turkey steaks). The meat was exceptional, especially the Picanha, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. The entire table was impressed with their meals, and everyone had more than enough side dishes to feel completely satisfied. While we brought our own birthday cake, the staff was still incredibly accommodating, providing everything we needed to enjoy it comfortably. The service throughout the evening was consistently friendly and attentive, making us feel well-cared for. The restaurant itself had warm lighting and a comfortable ambiance, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Churrasqueira Sal na Brasa delivered on all fronts for a memorable...
Read moreWas staying locally for the weekend in Aveiro and looking for a place to eat . This restaurant was one of the hotel's recommendations.
Declined the starter meats and bread which is offered to diners and went straight for the main course from the wide ranging choice of meals in the menu - half a grilled chicken served with boiled rice and chips and a green salad (had to check whether it was served with any side dishes because the menu wasn't clear). The half chicken arrived in 3-4 pieces from memory, was cooked well. For those who like wine with their meal, the restaurant carries a selection of wines with quite a few visible on display.
Overall, the meal was filling and reasonably priced were a wide range of diners of all ages - couples and families. Service was friendly with a good vibe and the restaurant was well staffed. They were accomodating with me not being able to speak Portugese and understood my English so fair play to...
