We visited and treated ourselves to a delicious sushi meal in this restaurant on 28th November. We arrived before the opening time but we were kindly greeted and welcome by the boss and his team. So we started a very relaxed pre-lunch time with a bottle of regional white (just under 12 euros, as pictured), a perfect choice that continued to accompany the expertly prepared and mouth-watering sushi combinations of the Buffet (Rodizio, just under 19 euros per person) menu option we chose. We opened our meal and closed it too, with a "Miso a Casa" which we decided had to be the best miso soup we ever had to date. Super tasty, included various sesame seeds and cubes of salmon. Don't miss it. The prawn tempuras were excellent and nicely hot, so were the bite-size fried rolls. As we weren't in any rush to go, we decided to try another white wine (14 euros) from the area that the boss had recommended to complement the good mood. Alentejan whites made with Viognier and Antão Vaz grape varieties are perfect partners to Asian and spicy food, and our favourites. The meal was a total success with very attentive and friendly staff members, also English spoken. The place sits about 24 diners inside and there is also central patio where you can sit for a drink and I assume, have meals during the warmer season. It's very clean, pleasantly and simply decorated and comfortable. We obviously had a look at other restaurants in the centre of the old town but we were glad we walked to check Sushi Alentejano, only 5 minutes away. We highly recommend this spot. The Rodizio is more expensive than most Buffet style sushi restaurants we're used to but the sushis are really of excellent quality, very fresh and deliciously well above average. Our bill came short of 64 euros. The menu offers various other options and looked pretty extensive. The place was popular with take-aways and we were glad to see a dozen clients made it for lunch despite the fact it was a Monday which we thought was encouraging. We wish the restaurant and the whole team a lot of success and are hoping to return in the new year. Thank you very much, a...

Pedimos "All you can eat", trouxeram - nos uma tábua com 44 peças.

The best place to eat sushi in town. The service is friendly and the restaurant is simple but clean and nice. The sushi is well prepared and the starters quite tasty.
