This place is a treasure. We really got a full service with recommendations. We were taken care of by the owner, he was very nice. We didn´t expect he would start bringing all kinds of starters/tapas but they were all very very tasty. Octopus salad, croquettes, poultry sausage with scrambled eggs. Main meal was also delicious, we chose a pork knee and a salad. We also had few glasses of a tasty white wine and a coffee. Without knowing how much would that all cost us, it was something like 60 euros in total. We thought it would be way more so we were nicely suprised :D Thank you, it was a...

So you decided to spend the day in Braga. After roaming around the charming streets and hiking up Bom Jesus you'll be hungry. Before heading back to your AirBnB or even taking the train back to Porto you HAVE to visit Azeite & Alho. It's out of the way in a quiet part of town, but your efforts will be rewarded with the kind of traditional Portuguese food even locals crave. Start with the croquettes, because, well, croquettes, then have some seafood, enjoy a bottle of local wine and immerse yourself in delicious, old school...
