The food was ok but definitely not the best espetada I've had in the past few days.
The reason for the 1 star review however was the service. We ordered 2 espetadas, the first one arrived and was cooked and seasoned well. Once we had finished that one we waited 5 minutes without the second arriving (every other place I've visited has brough both at roughly the same time) we had to ask one of the other waiters about where the other one was, it was immediately brought out but was cold and still very raw. When we complained the rather young and very rude waiter told us it was our fault because we asked about it...
Firstly I'd expect both the be prepared at the same time rather than having to wait. And not that the place was very busy but if it was and there was a delay we would have been fine to wait had there been any sort of communication.
In any case it's on you are the restaurant to ensure that you are serving food at a good standard, instead I left with a bad taste in my mouth both because of the raw meat and the attitude in which the waiter talked to us.
The sad part is we've actually visited this place several times before in previous years and it's generally been a good experience. As it stands however I can't recommend it and won't be...

As obvious tourists, we were greeted with a warm and vigorous invitation to our seats after some confused hand signalling from us. Parking was ample with their own dedicated parking lot, so there was no need to jostle for a questionable spot on tight winding roads.
Waiters were attentive, friendly, and offered great suggestions on the various meat dishes available, and they were excellent. Beef loin skewer was very tender and flavourful, the carpaccio was succulent and fresh, sangria was flavourful and poncho packed a punch. All dishes showed the quality of their ingredients (ask for piri piri sauce for chicken if you want some heat), while presentation was humble.
Restaurant filled up quick about 8pm onwards on a Thursday, and was filled with family enjoying a good time. I only give 5 stars where service, food, and atmosphere surprise and hit above expectations based on price, and they most certainly did. To all the folks at this fine establishment, thank you for a tasty, welcoming, and enjoyable...
