Europa — Restaurant in Caldas da Rainha

Good service ,but ordered medium bife and it was almost rare after waiting 20 minutes.

I ordered bread and butter for appetizer,much to my surprise the bread (a single roll) was 2€, butter and Tuna and sardine spreads added up to 6€ MORE!!!

At what point do.they think their.bread and 0.10€ butter packets are worth that amount? Preying on tourists who do not know better that Tavola Lagoa, Cais Praia, and Central Cafe are all a short drive or walk fron them and the food.is BETTER AND MORE AFFORDABLE.

Avoid Café Europa if you want a true Portuguese restaurant with Owners that care and do not take advantage of...

Our lunch on the outdoor terrace was spectacular! The views are stunning but what was even better was the food. We had the garlic shrimp appetizer and the octopus and both were some of the best we’ve had over the years here in Portugal. Service was attentive, kind and gentle. Didn’t matter who attended, everyone was equally great at helping us enjoy our afternoon. Don’t miss this place! But make reservations! Now that we have home here, this will be a regular spot...

On holidays in Foz and we had supper twice at Europa. From the moment you walk in the staff give you the warmest of welcomes and you get that feeling you're going to have a lovely evening.

The dishes of bream, grilled squid and their almond/egg dessert were our favourites. They effortlessly managed our gluten free needs.
